Chapter 36 - Ep .36The Clash of Destiny

The chamber blazed with light, yet shadows writhed, refusing to yield. The collision of forces shook the foundations of the ancient hall—stone crumbled, and cracks ran like veins across the walls.

She advanced, her blade now etched with glowing sigils, each one pulsing as if alive. The shadow's laughter cut through the tremor, cold and merciless.

"You awaken, yet you do not understand. That power does not belong to you—it was forged to chain both light and dark."

Her steps faltered for a breath, confusion flickering in her chest. The voice of the ancient memory echoed again: "You are the bridge. You are the heir… and you are the release."

"Bridge…?" she whispered. The realization struck her—she was not merely chosen to wield the weapon, but to become it. The balance between light and darkness rested within her very existence.

The shadow surged forward, claws of black flame tearing through the air. She raised the blade, the ring of light expanding once more, the clash exploding like thunder.

CRACK—!

The shockwave tore through the chamber, blasting stone into dust. Pain lanced through her arms, yet the light within her would not falter. It grew wilder, brighter, as if the abyss itself was fueling it.

The shadow snarled, its form unraveling in places where the light struck true.

"You are no end—you are the curse that binds us!"

Her eyes blazed, tears mixing with determination. "No… I am the choice your darkness never wanted to face."

With a cry that split the air, she drove the blade forward. Light and shadow collided in a storm of brilliance and ruin. The world quaked as if time itself held its breath—watching to see whether hope or despair would claim dominion.

And in that instant, she understood: this battle was not about victory alone. It was about the truth sealed within her soul.
