The streets of Incheon ran red. The air was thick with blood and smoke, filled with screams that clawed at the night sky.
The 500 Dark Crocodile Society soldiers—men who had terrorized the city for years—were nothing more than cattle before a slaughter. And Daniel… Daniel was the butcher.
---
He didn't fight like a man anymore.
He fought like a force of nature.
One soldier screamed and rushed him—Daniel seized him by the throat, lifted him high, and crushed his windpipe with a squeeze. The body dropped lifeless to the ground.
Another slashed with a machete—Daniel caught the blade with his bare hand, blood dripping from his palm, and with a twisted grin, he yanked it away before plunging it straight into the man's chest.
"AAAAAHHHHH!" the soldier wailed before silence took him.
Daniel's laughter echoed, low and cruel.
"Hahahaha… scream louder. I want the whole city to hear your end."
---
Soldiers attacked in groups, desperate to take him down. Daniel tore through them mercilessly—shattering skulls with his fists, stomping bones into dust, ripping weapons from their hands only to turn them back on their owners.
One man begged for mercy, crawling away. Daniel loomed over him, eyes glowing with cold amusement.
"Mercy? You pigs never gave it to children. To the old. To the weak. Now you beg? Pathetic."
He drove his foot down, caving the man's skull with a sickening crunch.
---
The Speed Faction watched from the edges of the chaos.
Roy Kwon's face went pale. "He's… he's not human…"
Sung Jegal swallowed hard, his cocky arrogance gone. "I thought he was strong… but this… this is a demon."
Boknam Lee trembled, unable to look away. "Every move is death… I can't even breathe watching him…"
Yeowool's lips tightened, her eyes betraying rare unease. Cheon Ma… are you truly our ally? Or the devil himself?
Jaegyeon Na's expression was grim. His fists clenched at his sides as he whispered under his breath.
So this is the real him. Not a warrior. Not a hero. A monster. And he's on our side… for now.
---
The civilians who had hidden now peeked out once more, trembling.
"Cheon Ma… he's unstoppable…"
"Not a man… a beast… no, worse."
"Did we just summon another devil to fight our devils…?"
Fear and awe blurred until the people couldn't decide if they should pray to him… or pray against him.
---
The final group of soldiers, nearly a hundred strong, tried to form a defensive wall with shields and pipes.
Daniel walked toward them slowly, dripping blood, his shirt torn, his dragon tattoo burning in the moonlight. His grin widened as he cracked his neck.
"Five hundred pigs sent to kill me… and this is all you have left? Pathetic."
They screamed in defiance and charged.
Daniel burst into their ranks like a hurricane of flesh and blood. His fists split faces, his knees shattered ribs, his elbows crushed skulls. He hurled men into each other like ragdolls, painting the streets crimson.
It wasn't fighting anymore. It was massacre.
---
When the last body finally dropped, silence fell. The battlefield was a graveyard of corpses, the stench of death hanging heavy.
Daniel stood at the center, chest rising and falling, his eyes sharp, his grin still carved on his face. His hands dripped with blood—so much blood that it looked like gloves painted red.
He tilted his head back and laughed—deep, cruel, echoing like thunder across Incheon.
"HAHAHAHAHAHA! Is this all the Dark Crocodile Society can do?! Send more! Send everyone you have! I'll bury you all under your own dead!"
---
The Speed Faction stood frozen.
Sebastian Kang muttered, voice low and shaken, "This… this is who we allied with?"
Jaegyeon's eyes narrowed, thoughts heavy. A devil who laughs at carnage. If he turns on us one day… what chance would we have?
Even Yeowool, always composed, felt a chill run down her spine. She clenched her fists tightly, her voice a whisper.
"…Cheon Ma. You're supposed to be our ally. But… what have we brought into our city?"
