"Why did you not look at the camera?" Sara asked, holding the photograph in her hands after fastening her seatbelt in the car.
Luca leaned over to look at the framed image. "Do you hate it when I look at you?"
"No," Sara immediately refuted, turning her head away, a faint flush on her cheeks. "Every secretary has this photo, and you're the CEO, yet you're only looking at me. Isn't that weird?"
"Now, you even hate looking at me," Luca complained playfully, leaning back into his own seat. His hand moved toward the steering wheel when Sara gently held his arm.
"I didn't say anything about that," Sara replied softly. "It actually shows I matter to you. The look in your eyes... I never saw such a kind of gaze before. It carries both admiration and protectiveness."
Luca smiled genuinely, completely disarmed by her sincere explanation. "You're right. Now you see how much I truly love you."
"Hmm. Did you ask Remo to bring those posters, by the way?" Sara asked, changing the subject.
