Luca returned home with his father, stepping through the grand doors of the mansion where the rest of the family was gathered, anxiously waiting for his return.
Spotting his friend near the entryway, Luca walked over to him. "Lucius, thank you for your help. Without you, it would have been impossible for me to get out of this situation," Luca said, his voice thick with genuine gratitude.
"I only did my duty as your friend." Lucius stepped forward, pulling Luca into a hug and patting his back. "Patch up with your family now, and live the life you always desired to have. Also, let the anger go. Trust me, that is the best way to find peace and joy. Roger has already sent Bastian to Spain safely with Martin. You don't need to worry about anything else anymore. Just focus on your family."
The two friends pulled away. "Stay the night—" Luca began, but he couldn't finish before Lucius interrupted him with a shake of his head.
