A continuous praise echoed into the vastness of Heaven. Seven towers stood tall, with a palace in the middle. It wasn't a palace for a king or a queen, but for he who is the Flawless One—the almighty God.
In the throne chamber of the God, a woman knelt, with her six white wings pinned on the ground, with glowing nails pinning each one of them.
"I am... Sorry," she murmured to herself.
She, who has no emotion, felt despair and regret for the first time. Tears flowed from her eyes, and she was biting her lower lip, trying to suppress her swelling emotion. A man with white hair, wearing armor, walked to the woman's side.
"Michael..." Her flowing tears turned into particles of light and vanished as they ascended. "I shouldn't have..."
"Is that your last word in Heaven, Nyx?" Michael raised his hand as a sword materialized in his hand.
"I have been... freed from the shackles of time." Her eyes widened.
A beam of light struck her as Michael's sword descended. Her last tears vanished as she fell from grace.
O divine God, please forgive me, for I have sinned. Truly, I am ashamed. I ask for your forgiveness and mercy.
"Redeem yourself, Nyx. You are the Angel of Night."
A light flashes before my eyes. Darkness everywhere. I tried to grab the thread of space, but there was no space to hold onto. As if I am in the void, the gap between each world where the concept of space and time cease to exist.
"Do not be afraid," I tried to calm myself. I looked at my hands, my white wings curling to cover me as they slowly turned black.
"I see. O divine God, I will redeem myself."
And Nyx's wings spread. Her eyes flashed as she saw the many worlds the God had created, and she saw one. Her wings spread wider, and with a swift movement of her hand, she flew like an eagle descending.
The space on her path cracked and without hesitation, she flew inside.
