"What use is two against one?"
After a brief moment of thought, Satoru chose to launch an attack on Sukuna. His toes lightly tapped through the air as his body suddenly plunged downward like a diving hawk.
No matter how he looked at it, Unlimited Void was currently stuck in a defensive position. Even if he reinforced its outer shell as much as possible, it wouldn't hold for long.
After all, Sukuna's innate technique had already been imbued into Malevolent Shrine, and with the endless slashes tearing through Unlimited Void, its destruction was only a matter of time.
The only chance Satoru had to fight without holding back was during this process.
"Don't you dare... touch Yuta's body!"
The moment Satoru's feet touched the ground, he had already reached Sukuna. However, Rika suddenly shouted and swung her fist at him.
Though she knew that the person beside her was no longer her Yuta, the girl still chose a path completely different from that of the others from Jujutsu High. Her thoughts remained stuck in the mindset she had when she was still a girl, and she had no idea what it meant to be the strongest.
Rika only knew that she had to protect Yuta's body until the person who had taken it fulfilled his promise and returned it to her. Otherwise, the one who had stolen Yuta's body could do things to it that she could never accept.
Because of this, even Yuta's friends could not be considered by Rika. No matter what consequences she might have to face, as long as she saw that Yuta was safe, she was willing to accept the punishment.
Terrifying cursed energy and overwhelming resentment seemed to seep through the gaps between her razor-sharp teeth. Even though her eyes had not been opened, Rika still possessed strength that surpassed most grade 1 sorcerers. The cursed energy concentrated in her fist alone was enough to smash an entire building.
Still, Rika herself was nothing more than a vengeful cursed spirit born from Yuta's enormous cursed energy and the intense feelings the two had for each other. Her ability to learn was not particularly strong. Since she had never learned Domain Amplification, there was fundamentally no way for her to break through Infinity.
Unless Satoru fell into cursed technique burnout.
But Unlimited Void was different from Malevolent Shrine. The center of the former's Domain was still the sorcerer himself. In other words, the Limitless technique was still active on Satoru's body.
Thus, before the Domain battle ended, Rika had no way to truly attack him.
Just like Satoru had expected, her fist stopped only a centimetre away from his head and could not move any closer.
'So it really was going to turn out like this...'
Rika's reaction had already been within his and Mukuro's expectations. After all, love was the most twisted curse.
Could anyone really expect a curse born from love to remain rational when the person it loved was in danger?
Facing the fist that could not reach him, Satoru pushed her arm aside. Right as he was about to counterattack, he caught sight of Sukuna's fist approaching rapidly from the side with Domain Amplification covering it.
"Tch~"
He let out a sound of annoyance but abandoned his attack on Rika. Instead, he leaped back into the air and avoided Sukuna's punch.
"See? This is exactly where she becomes useful."
A cruel smile appeared on Sukuna's face as he finally responded to Satoru's earlier taunt.
On a battlefield at this level, only special grade combatants could enter. As luck would have it, the Queen of Curses was one of the few who qualified.
Even if she could not hurt Satoru while Infinity was protecting him, she could still provide Sukuna with cover to a certain extent.
Not giving his opponent much time to breathe, Sukuna stepped onto Rika's shoulder and launched himself into the air, heading straight for Satoru.
As he rose, he pulled at the space around him. It was as if he intended to twist the entire sky.
But the moment Sukuna began to ascend, Satoru suddenly dropped downward. The distance between the two rapidly closed, and before Sukuna could release the space in his hand, Satoru's feet were already swinging toward his face.
Yet Rika, who had also leaped into the air, raised her massive hands and once again blocked Sukuna's path.
Without the gravitational force of Blue to strengthen the attack, it was merely a strike enhanced by cursed energy, sending Rika's body flying backward.
At the same time, the space in Sukuna's hand was ready.
"Thin Ice Breaker."
At that moment, only a few meters separated him from Satoru.
Crack~
Sukuna swung his hand and powerful cursed energy rippled through the surrounding space. The atmosphere split apart once again.
Satoru, who was still in the sky, reinforced both arms with cursed energy and took the attack head-on. He was blasted backward by the impact.
"Let me enjoy myself a little more, Satoru Gojo."
Sukuna descended from the sky. The instant his feet touched the ground, he transformed into a streak of light and charged toward Satoru.
Alongside him, Rika rushed in from another direction.
Everything had gone according to Sukuna's expectations so far. There were very few sorcerers capable of defeating Rika, and Satoru was one of them.
If Rika had been a shikigami or an ordinary cursed spirit, Satoru would have killed her without hesitation.
But Rika had a soul. She was Yuta's childhood friend.
From Yuta's memories alone, Sukuna could tell that Satoru regarded Rika as a part of his student's life. Therefore, Satoru's defeat was already decided.
Under these circumstances, Sukuna could fight with even less restraint.
From the left and right, Sukuna and Rika rapidly closed in on him.
Satoru was still half-sitting on the ground. The blood seeping from the tip of his nose seemed to tell the story of the power behind the earlier Thin Ice Breaker.
'What is this feeling...?'
The smile on Sukuna's face abruptly disappeared as something strange stirred in his heart.
Although it lasted only for an instant, he had definitely sensed something from Satoru, who was currently lying there like a beaten dog.
Was it the awakening of cursed energy?
The Falling Blossom Emotion? Or Simple Domain?
Two possibilities immediately appeared in Sukuna's mind.
Satoru was different from him. Unlimited Void's center was Satoru himself, so Limitless could still operate on his body.
However, they were currently engaged in a Domain clash. He could not easily use Blue or Red, as doing so would weaken his Domain's ability to compete.
The thought lasted only for an extremely brief moment. Regardless of which possibility it was, neither could affect him, so Sukuna did not stop.
But in the next moment, the scene felt strangely familiar.
Satoru, who had still been half-sitting on the ground, suddenly charged toward Sukuna the instant he stood up.
'That speed? Could he be trying to...?!'
The attack was completely outside Sukuna's expectations. He quickly canceled Domain Amplification and prepared to use Sky Manipulation at any moment.
Rika also adjusted her stance and swung her enormous fist toward Satoru.
However, it was not the Red Sukuna had expected.
"Maximum Output: Blue!"
Satoru swung his left hand toward the rear. The enormous attraction immediately pulled Rika's entire body toward him.
It also dragged Sukuna's hand off course as he tried to manipulate the space around him.
Crack!
Cracks rapidly appeared across the outer shell of Unlimited Void.
At the exact same time, Satoru clenched his other hand into a fist, coated in the pull of Cursed Technique Amplification: Blue.
Boom!
The punch landed squarely in Sukuna's chest.
* * *
Outside the Domain.
Crack!
Unlimited Void completely shattered.
"Unlimited Void again..."
"No, wait. Look at Malevolent Shrine!"
While the students spoke anxiously, the teachers were the first to notice what truly mattered.
Malevolent Shrine was collapsing!
