Chapter 83
ENZO
I woke up with a bitter taste on my tongue.
" Water." I called out in panic but my voice reverberated in the room, there was no one there. I thought it was just my ears, my eyes couldn't fail me so I looked around and to my despair, there was no one there.
I was left alone.
I felt my eyes burn, the hot tears spilled off my eyes in panic. This was the first time I felt that way, so I called out softly,
" Francesa."
It was soft, barely a whisper, though I didn't know why I thought she would be here to care for me.
But she wasn't, she wasn't here for me and I couldn't imagine where she was. My hands moved to the bedspread, grasping it in my grip as I cried softly.
My eyes burnt and my chest ached.
I was in the hospital, I didn't want to be here. I screamed out, trying to find my voice and get someone's attention but I only succeeded in pulling out the syringe that was tucked into my skin then the blood splattered and my veins constricted as I whined in pain.
