â° Resets Monday!

Ethan looked at Tony with exasperated concernâhis friend's face was a map of angry red blisters, and the rest of him probably wasn't much better.
"Yes, yes, I saw your spectacular crash from above. Can you actually move anything?"
Tony stared at him in shock. "Above? You mean she took you flying? That's completely unfair! I demand equal treatment!"
Gemini approached with regal disdain, studying Tony's condition like a particularly unappetizing specimen. She rummaged through her enchanted pouch and tossed two vials to Ethan.
"Green for burns, white for external injuries. You apply themâI refuse to let someone this filthy contaminate my flying carpet." After a moment's consideration, she added a third bottle. "Drink this after the wounds close. Don't bother trying to analyze itâMuggle science can't detect magical properties."
Tony shrugged and began treating his injuries. "How exactly are we getting home?"
"Coby is packing our belongings. Burn this parchment and your assistant will receive notification." She handed him what looked like ordinary paper. "I assume Ms. Potts has aircraft standing by? I'll require transportation back to civilization."
"What? Already? Can't I at least make myself presentable?" Tony gestured at his tattered, bloodstained appearance, then at his companions' immaculate condition.
"Absolutely not. We're operating on a strict timeline."
Tony grudgingly continued his medical ministrations. At minimum, he should be functional when rescue arrived.
The healing potions worked with startling efficiencyâblisters faded, cuts sealed, bruises vanished. Tony examined his restored skin with wonder, then downed the final vial in one gulp.
"Christ! This tastes like fermented gym socks! Are you punishing me for something?"
But his complaints died as something shifted in his chest. Tony tore open his shirt, revealing the arc reactor being slowly expelled by regenerating muscle tissue.
Ethan went white. "Gemini! Emergency! His heart is surrounded by shrapnel fragmentsâwithout that device magnetizing them, he'll die in minutes!"
Tony collapsed, gasping as his improvised pacemaker worked loose from tissues that had grown around it over weeks of captivity.
Gemini moved with surgical precision. "Stand back."
She knelt beside Tony and yanked the reactor free with brutal efficiency. The pain sent him into unconsciousnessâmercy, considering what came next.
From her enchanted pouch, Gemini withdrew a collection of medical implements that belonged in no earthly hospital. She poured several drops of silvery liquid into Tony's chest cavity, halting the healing process mid-regeneration.
Her wand traced diagnostic patterns over his torso, revealing the deadly constellation of metal fragments clustered around his heart. The Healing Potion had accelerated his circulationâthose fragments were moments from entering his cardiac chambers.
Gemini drew a silver scalpel and began cutting with the confidence of someone who'd performed this procedure before. Muscle parted cleanly. Two ribs vanished under precisely controlled Bone-Vanishing Charms. She exposed Tony's beating heart with clinical detachment.
Then came the truly difficult work.
Each fragment required its own Vanishing Charmâmicroscopic precision applied to objects barely visible to magical senses. Too little power and the spell would fail. Too much and she'd erase vital cardiac tissue along with the shrapnel.
Sweat beaded on her forehead as she worked. This level of magical surgery would earn Outstanding marks on N.E.W.T. examinationsâassuming the examiner could stomach watching a seventeen-year-old girl perform open-heart surgery with nothing but wandwork and determination.
Fragment by fragment, the deadly metal vanished into nothingness.
A final diagnostic sweep confirmed success. Gemini cast Sterilization Charms throughout the surgical site, then guided the separated tissues back into proper alignment. The Healing Potion's effects resumed, muscle and skin knitting together with supernatural speed.
Within minutes, Tony's chest showed no trace of the massive wound that had nearly killed him.
"Rennervate."
Tony's eyes snapped open, hands immediately moving to his intact chest. He stared at Gemini's blood-covered hands with something approaching religious awe.
"You saved my life. What do I owe you?"
She was already cleaning her hands with water Coby provided, changing the basin repeatedly until no trace of blood remained.
"Nothing. My contract specified your safe returnâI was unaware of pre-existing medical conditions." She tossed him a final vial. "Skele-Gro. I removed two ribs during the procedure. Drink this after your surface wounds finish healing. Eight hours for complete bone regeneration, considerable pain, no anesthetics permitted."
Tony examined the clear liquid with understandable wariness. "This won't taste likeâ"
"Drink it quickly or suffer slowly. Your choice."
He downed the potion in one desperate gulp, then immediately regretted the decision.
Liquid fire raced down his throat, igniting every nerve ending from esophagus to stomach. Tony doubled over, coughing violently.
"What kind of medieval torture is this?"
"Skele-Groâone thousand one hundred drops, bone regeneration, excellent results. Rubeus Winks Ltd. exclusive formula, though I've improved the recipe for faster action." Her tone carried professional pride.
"You people have pharmaceutical companies?"
But Tony's amazement transformed into agony as the potion reached his damaged ribcage. The sensation of bones growing from nothing was indescribableâlike being stabbed from the inside by white-hot needles that moved with geological slowness.
He collapsed, writhing in the sand.
"Pleaseâthere has to be something for the painâ"
"Pain medications interfere with bone regeneration. You'll endure it like everyone else." Gemini showed no sympathy. "Consider it payment for doubting my abilities."
Ethan knelt beside his friend, offering what comfort he could while Tony's skeleton rebuilt itself one excruciating millimeter at a time.
In the distance, the sound of aircraft engines grew steadily louder.
"Ms. Potts is punctual," Gemini observed with satisfaction. "Cobyâprepare for departure. Our work here is finished."
As rescue helicopters appeared on the horizon, Tony managed one final question through gritted teeth:
"Will I ever see you again?"
Gemini smiledâthe expression both mysterious and oddly fond.
"Mr. Starkâin my experience, people like us have a tendency to find each other when the world needs saving."
She gathered her belongings with practiced efficiency, leaving Tony to contemplate both his miraculous survival and the unsettling certainty that this was only the beginning of a much larger story.
