Chapter 58 - Chapter 58: How Can a Sword Be So Inconvenient?

Keqing was reset to factory settings, standing there completely naked.

She looked at the sweat hanging at the peak of her mountains, about to drip, and a question mark slowly formed in her mind:"Sword qi… is that how it's used?"

The dust gradually settled.

Jack belatedly realized what he had done.

He threw the wooden sword and quickly ran over.

Hugging Keqing, he asked worriedly:"Keqing! Are you okay! Are you hurt anywhere?"

Worry filled his eyes, and the vibrant Aralia Element Power flowed out freely, completely refilling Keqing's energy, which had been depleted from continuously unleashing her elemental burst.

Keqing giggled sweetly, her small hands wrapping around Jack's waist as she snuggled into his embrace.

"It's nothing, really, just that you gave me a big scare."

Jack heard the vitality in her voice, and his strong arms held Keqing tightly.

This truly confirmed what he had said earlier about beginners not being able to control their strength.

He only knew that the MC Steve template granted him almost infinite growth potential.

But he hadn't realized that, unknowingly, he had already reached a physical level where he could unleash "sword qi."

He even almost injured his own woman during their sparring session.

If Keqing had truly been harmed, he would rather not have such power gained by sacrificing his wife.

"Hehe, my Jack is truly amazing; he actually learned such incredible sword techniques without a teacher."

Keqing gazed adoringly at Jack's profile, her heart brimming with the sense of accomplishment as a teacher.

"Mm-hmm, it's all because Keqing taught me so well."

Jack, however, felt no pride in his heart; if increasing his strength could make Keqing happy, he would do everything to achieve it, and then earn a praising smile from her.

The two embraced like that for several minutes.

Keqing suddenly said, "We don't need to spar anymore after this. We agreed, I'll put on those... cough... pantyhose to guide your swordsmanship. Do you still remember how you swung that last sword strike?"

Jack pinched her cheek, "It's fine, Keqing, I was just joking. Let's just train normally."

"No way!"

Keqing pouted, "I, Keqing, am a woman of my word! Besides, Jack, you've worked so hard that you've even developed sword qi on your own. I... I'll sacrifice a little bit of my shame to help you practice; there's no problem with that, hmm! No problem!"

The more she thought about it, the more shameful it felt.

The more shameful it felt, the more she thought about it.

Keqing simply pushed Jack away and immediately changed into those open-crotch pantyhose right there.

Afterward, her face flushed, she said, "W-we continue!"

"Pfft."

"Hey! What are you laughing at?"

Jack turned his head, "I just thought of something happy!"

Keqing's face turned from red to dark, "How can you be like this! I'm keeping my promise and kindly dressing like this to practice swordsmanship with you, and you're still laughing at me!"

Jack continued to smile.

But it was no longer mocking; it carried three parts of doting affection.

"Alright, I know my Keqing is a woman of her word, but the weather is cold in the morning. What if you catch a cold? At least put on a jacket."

Jack took out a robe from his god's eye.

After putting it on Keqing, the garment, which was only a jacket for him, reached the middle of Keqing's thighs.

From the outside, it looked like a normal everyday outfit with a jacket and pantyhose.

Keqing, wearing the clothes she had personally sewn for Jack, showed a sweet smile.

...

"So that's how it is. Is that how you swung out the sword qi?"

Keqing pinched her chin and nodded, then shook her head.

"What's wrong? Is there a problem with my sword qi?"

Jack asked, looking at the stone pillar that he had chopped into a pile of shattered debris, satisfied yet puzzled.

Keqing didn't answer him directly but took out a wooden stick from her backpack and handed it to Jack.

"Are you telling me to use the same method to create 'sword qi' again?"

Teacher Keqing nodded with approval.

So Jack recalled the method of exerting force, and his arm, as if teleporting, swung from left to right.

A terrifying storm was released along with his arm swing.

The stone pillar, created from Aralia Element Power, shattered in response.

"Did you find the problem?"

"A little... it seems that my use of this attack has little to do with a sword? It's something I swung with my arm, hmm, a punch wind?"

"Correct!"

Keqing nodded, as if saying, 'This student is teachable.'

"This..."

Looking at the wooden stick in his hand, Jack's mind was a bit confused.

Who didn't have a dream of being a great hero, wielding a sword and roaming the world, when they were young?

He finally managed to unleash sword qi, and then you tell him it's a shockwave created by his fist forcefully displacing air.

Who could stand such a thing!

"I don't care! As long as I'm holding a sword, then it's sword qi!"

"But it's clearly something you hit with your fist, isn't it?"

"But I'm holding a sword!"

"But you also saw that you can achieve this level without holding a sword. There's no need to obsess over the name of the attack, is there?"

The two were stubborn.

They argued endlessly over whether Jack had truly learned sword qi.

Until a third person's voice appeared.

"I say, you two are really impolite. It's one thing to unilaterally turn someone's home into a fighting arena, but to disturb the residents here from early morning, shouldn't I report to the Knights of Favonius that someone is disturbing the rest of ordinary Mondstadt citizens?"

Lisa, with dark circles under her eyes, had woken up in her pajamas.

Leaning against the back door, she looked helplessly at the two arguing people.

Seeing Lisa arrive, Jack grabbed her without a word and pulled her next to Keqing.

"Miss Witch, you are knowledgeable. Come and see if this is a trace caused by sword qi."

Several black lines appeared on Lisa's forehead.

Resisting the urge to electrocute him, she followed Jack's finger to the half-meter-wide "sword mark."

"What kind of sword can create sword qi two meters long and half a meter wide? I clearly see this as the trace of a fist swing."

"Right, right! Jack still insists it's sword qi, but genuine sword qi should be like this!"

With that, Master Keqing unleashed a move that cleared away the clutter, elegantly sending out several sword qi slashes, leaving jagged sword marks on the stone wall.

"Hmm, yes, yes, yes! This is sword qi!"

Lisa humored the two, then pointed to the pockmarked backyard and said, "So?"

"You two, in order to train your sword qi early in the morning, turned my home into something like a demolition site, and even put up a temporary fence?"

"Cough, cough!"

Jack felt a bit guilty under Lisa's gaze, "This all has a reason."

"Reason? What reason requires you to use such a large-scale setup? This isn't Alice-nushi's experimental site; it doesn't need walls to prevent explosions from expanding."

Jack pointed to the jacket Keqing was wearing.

Keqing immediately understood Jack's meaning, her shame suppressed by guilt, and then she opened her jacket to reveal the battle-damaged style lingerie.

"??"

Lisa blushed and took half a step back.

She felt as if the whole world had become unfamiliar.

Playing such games early in the morning? These two, do they both have some kind of problem?!
