(author- hey guys my sis has pointed out something me, I know you guys may have noticed me using pact instead of pack and there's a reason for that and the short version is because pact represents more to them as it reminds them of the promise to their ancestors from the first war and to the goddess and her mates but also themselves which is why they use pact instead of pack. Feeling the tension in dad's hand I flip my hand over to hold his, "daddy it's not your fault you and mom have been able to protect me so well, over the years allowing me to have no worries. It's just that now I have to step out on my own two feet, and I won't be on my own I have Jane with me as well, to be able to protect myself and when I meet my mates we will be able to handle this together."
Jane: 'That's right! I won't let anything happen to Hanna I will always be by her side, me and Hanna are one we will weather any storm together.'
Mom: "That's right honey even if she is away from home her last name is still Pisces with that and us supporting her in the background, no one would dare to make an enemy of us without knowing the repercussion. Even the marshal pacts and duke pacts wouldn't be willing too with us governing one of the main 4 rivers with our being the heart.
Also, with Jane protecting our daughter we have nothing to fear for our daughter is also a very capable young girl that's stepping into her own."
After having breakfast my parents walk me out of the house stopping at the car that will be taking me to the chosen grounds school, I turn to face them making my skirt twirl while I do and run before running to them. Hugging the both of them "I'll miss you so much mom and dad do I really have to stay at the dorms? can't I stay living here with the rest of you and the pact in the complex. It's only a 4-hour drive there and back, I promise I'll wake up extra early in the morning to be on time for school and classes."
Mom: "Awe baby girl we will miss you too, but you have to stay on camps it's one of the main rules agreed on upon by all 3 of the races. Back when Luna, Sophia, Lexis and her she-wolf mate were still around, to try and stop the influence of students' parents from being in the school. Which is also why you're ranking also doesn't matter there.
We will call and write to you, so make sure you don't forget to update us on your time there and if you need anything at all your mom and dad will do our best to make sure you have whatever you need."
Feeling my mom pat my head over my hair "hmmm...I will" as I let them go when the tears start to leave my eyes, I smile at them with my eyes closed and turn around walking to the car for the driver to open the door for me. I get in only to look at my parents through the window of the car for me to see mom standing next to dad while they smile at me, my mom smiles with her eyes closed her hands folded on top of each other.
The driver asks me if I'm ready as I'm still looking out the window, I nod my head for the car to start to pull off while I watch my parents standing there looking back at me. Leaving my house, I hear Jane start to speak to me with me no long being able to see my parents faces I turn forward no longer seeing my parents 'it'll be alright Hanna whenever you feel alone you can just talk to me or we can go out for runs and free our minds, I'm sure we will make lots of friends at the school.'
'Mhmm....it'll be ok...like you said I have you with an I'm sure too that we will make a lot of friends but I'm...just nervous and that I'll miss them a lot after all from now on we will be spending our high school all the way up to college there.
And we only get to go home a very few times threw out the years there such as holidays and family visit months, which only happens 2-3 times out the year and my parents are busy a lot even on holidays.
Also, I have no clue what our mates will be like...I don't know if they will accept us or if they will reject us, even among our own race the mate's rejection rate is high and outside our own species we're not very liked by the other's. Even if the hostility isn't open like it was before during the time of goddess Lyna, Sophia, Lexis, and her she-wolf mate time it still exists among the 3 species.
I don't know if we could handle the rejection from our mates if they did, especially if the compatibility among us is high. I heard that when an omega is rejected by its mate it's like their heart is being shredded and their bones are breaking and it's 10 worse for the Luna.'
Jane: 'Think positive Hanna think about it, if you're this nervous then think of how our mates must feel then. Even though we have not made the bond we still are connected to our mates through the mate connection, the three of you can still feel each other's emotions. Showing how anxious you are, also affects just how much our mates are as well.'
Realizing that Jane is right I feel an additional amount of feelings on top of what I'm already feeling having that mean it must be coming from our mates. 'So, you are scared too about meeting me as well but I also feel a sense of pride or arrogance, along with care, gentle ness, and worry in it as well, so your all so different it like one does not like to express how they feel as the is gentle and caring, as the last one is passionate and loving causing me to smile' I fell an change in their emotions as if one of them are trying to communicate with me as if saying.
'You have finally calmed down, just because you're able to feel my feelings through our connection do not think you know me hfmm.'
Giggling at how cute they're being I relax more an let my feelings do the talking for me to them 'mhmm... so you were worried about me then let's talk as we're traveling so, we can get to know each other.'
Feeling the change again in their feelings, 'w..w-who said t... that...that...I was worried about you! I guess we can talk as we're traveling.' That when I feel the other join in as well wanting to comfort me as well, and like that the 4-hour journey to the skill seems to fly by while I was talking to my mates and Jane. We arrive at the school, and I get out the car to see that others are arriving as well when I feel that my mates are saying 'well then since you are here, we will see you in the auditorium.'
Grabbing my backpack, 'wait I don't know any of your names yet, can you tell me' I ask before I enter the school building.
