Kim's soul was ready to merge back with his body—but just before that happened, he felt something was wrong.
No sound.
And the place around him… changed.
There was no pain.
Just something far worse.
Silence.
A heavy, suffocating silence, like a cold hand gripping his soul from the inside.
Kim opened his eyes—only to find himself standing in a vast black void.
No ground beneath his feet, no ceiling above,
only countless clocks hanging in the air…
Thousands of clocks, all frozen,
their hands dripping faint, dried-blood light.
He had no idea where he was.
His chest rose and fell rapidly,
and that old scar in his heart… hurt again.
He shouted into the void:
"Amon! AMON! Where are you?!"
Then he heard it.
A woman's voice…
faint, yet carrying the weight of forgotten civilizations.
> "O heir of Nothingness… why do you weep?"
Kim froze.
He spun around, but saw no one.
Before he could speak, the darkness before him cracked open,
and from within emerged a tall figure draped in golden sand,
with a symbol on her forehead resembling the Eye of Horus—
but inverted downward.
Her features were blurred, as if time had erased her thousands of years ago.
She approached until her face was just breaths away from his.
> "You have been summoned, Kim… for the Last Moment seeks a new master."
Huh?
Kim opened his mouth to scream, but no sound came out.
He instinctively stepped back, activating his eye-ability that drains lifespan—
but it did nothing to her.
The woman lifted her hand.
The clocks around them began to tremble in the air.
Each clock glowed with a different color…
until they all gathered behind Kim, forming a single massive clock—
A broken clock.
As tall as a building.
Cracks spread across its surface like shattered glass,
each crack leaking a deep violet light.
The woman stepped back,
her voice deeper now… sadder.
> "I have seen your death… your first death… your second… your tenth."
"I have seen the moment where you were meant to end."
Kim gasped.
He felt like the void itself was crushing his lungs.
> "But you… did not die."
She extended her hand toward him.
On her palm appeared a small core of time—
a slow-spinning violet vortex.
> "This is the power of the one whose name has been forgotten."
"The god of time, torn apart by war, devoured by chaos."
"Yet he left behind a throne… a throne only one with a fully shattered heart can sit upon."
She lifted the core toward his chest.
> "Do you want power, Kim?"
His whole body trembled.
He remembered his mother's screams.
Mary's tears.
The kind of pain no human ever forgets.
He understood…
If he said no, everything would end here.
He closed his eyes and whispered:
> "…I want it."
The woman smiled—a sad, ancient smile.
Then she pushed the core into his chest.
Light exploded.
Kim screamed—
not a human scream,
but the scream of time breaking.
The massive clock behind him shattered,
its hands twisting into dark temporal wings,
and the surrounding shadows formed a colossal throne,
shaped from the fragments of broken moments.
Blood-colored text appeared in the air:
**[Skill Acquired:
Last Moment Throne
Kim opened his eyes—
and they were no longer the same.
One of his eyes now held a second clock-hand,
constantly rotating.
And the woman?
She was fading away, her body turning into drifting grains of sand.
> "When the prince sits upon his throne…"
"the world itself will stop."
And everything collapsed into darkness.
