It all began on 30 November,2005. A baby saw the world for the first time. His parents were so happy that after so many miscarriage, finally, finally someone new came to their world. Though they can't really assume this as magic. They did everything they could've done to have a child. They tried different types of medicines, they prayed, they even consulted a physician for help, but nothing worked. When they were about to leave their hope, they went to pray. There an old ,humble lady was praying for a long time. She looked at them and gave them a soft smile while they were coming, then continued praying again. When she was about to leave, she came closer to the woman and said, " You should be more careful. By the way, how month is this? {pointing at her belly}"
She was confused about what the old lady mentioned.
She smiled awkwardly and said, " I don't understand what you are saying." the old lady said, " I am talking about the baby". The woman was shocked to hear that. She got a little upset but didn't let it show and said, " No, no, you are guessing wrong. I just got a little belly fat recently, maybe due to junk foods. And I can't really have any babies...…."
The old lady got a little bit angry and said, " Well then congrats, you are pregnant. My experience could never be wrong. And what do you mean by eating junk food, huh? You should be more careful. What is wrong with this generation? Only eating outside. Getting sick. Look at me, still fit and healthy. at our time ...…"
Whatever the lady said couldn't reach out to the woman. Her hearing stopped after hearing she is going to be a mother. Her inside suddenly felt warm. She rubbed her belly and felt something. Something that was not usual for a normal woman. She is going to be upgraded to a mother anytime soon.
Her husband was in the bathroom during the whole conversation. He came back and saw an old lady scolding his wife. As a protective husband, he couldn't bear it and rushed to her wife and asked, " Is everything alright?" The woman was zoned out. She came out of her thoughts and then shook the old lady's hand, "THANK YOU. I will remember everything ". Then she grabbed her husband's hand and left the room. Outside , she was so happy that she couldn't control her feelings. She hugged her husband quite tightly. Then uttered everything she experienced. Her husband was shocked at first by the sudden hug, but after hearing everything he couldn't stop smiling. He pulled his wife and went straight to the doctor. The old lady was right.
Maris was so happy to be a mother. But she couldn't share it with her family. Cealum is her only close one. Her family cut their ties with her after she decided to marry Cealum. She saw a sparkle of hope that their stone heart might melt by the news of a grandchild,or might be more than one, who knows.
{ It's almost been 4 months.}
" ahhhhh,,,{ Frustrated}. CEALUUUMMM…. I told you to bring my chocolate cake, why did you bring vanilla …{ Very angry.}. I told you so many times.....{ Suddenly starts sobbing.}
Cealum is confused, he just murmurs to himself, " What monster I have seen. Her mood swings are getting so aggressive nowadays.". But right after that he says to himself, " Anything for my queen and upcoming heir".
Suddenly Maris screamed, her screaming made Cealum skip a heart beat. He rushed and saw that Maris was screaming in pain, he rushed her to the car.
The road was free, thankfully, but their house is too far away from the city.
Maris started scolding him, " I told you a long time ago to shift the house, but no. No one listens to me, nobody cares for me,,ouchhh.. "
Cealum looked back and said, " Are you alright ,honey. Wait for a little longer, we are almost there". He blames himself for her pain. If only he could have endured some pain with her. Suddenly she stopped screaming.
