Nikki's eyebrows lifted, slow and deliberate. "Did to you?" she echoed. "I think you're mixing things up, Roff." Her head tilted, mock thoughtful, as she gestured lazily around the cell. "Last I checked, neither my father nor I forced you into this cage."
Roff spat through the bars, the glob hitting the floor at her feet. "You set it all in motion. You ruined everything."
A soft laugh slipped from Nikki's throat. She chuckled, unbothered, eyes bright. "Seems she hit you pretty hard if you've already forgotten the real culprit." Her gaze sharpened, cutting. "The one who interfered with you and your little fun."
"Rhea," Roff spat the name like a curse, saliva flecking the floor as his fingers tightened around the bars.
