Chapter 66 - A flare of disaster

Earlier that morning, Niaya pulled her older brother into a corner.

"What is it that needs discussion, Nia?" Henry stood impatient. His eyes urging his younger sister to be quick with what she wanted to tell him.

"Stick to him like a leech." Niaya said, earning a frown from the second Prince's face.

"I don't follow." Henry's eyes darted here and there.

"If you want the ministers to take you seriously, show them that you're ready by following Leonard around. Let them think you want to learn from him."

Niaya's words echoed through Henry's mind, as he awaited his half-brother response.

"You shall serve your Kingdom by handling matters here in the royal court." The Crown Prince wasn't too keen on his half-brother going with him.

"But I want to be on the field. With you, brother." Henry knew exactly what he was doing by adding 'brother' at the end of every sentence. He was showing people that he loved and respected him, even though they are not of same mother.
