When the guest bid farewell to the newlywed couple, Naomi was ready to drop dead in her bed. She was supposed to chat with Alpha Maxwell and bid him goodnight but she was so sleepy she would chat with him tomorrow morning.
She was already yawning when the last guest left.
"Darling, let's go straight to bed for our wedding night," Edison whispered huskily in her ears, excited to consummate their first night together as husband and wife.
Naomi glared at him. "No. You are not going to sleep in my bed tonight. You will sleep in the guestroom!" She rushed to the staircase, climbed up and headed straight for her bedroom.
Edison was left alone in the living room, annoyed by his wife's nasty behavior.
He went after her, knocking on her door. "Darling, open the door and let me in!" He demanded, tired and sleepy.
"Go away! Leave me alone!" Naomi yelled.
"Where do you want me to sleep?" he asked, leaning on the door, scanning the hallway.
