Chapter 25: Seventh Tier Knight?
Inside the Inn, Ace and Lilia had just concluded another passionate encounter, leaving Lilia contentedly resting on Ace's lap.
"Husband, I'm tired; let me rest for a while," Lilia whispered softly, embracing Ace's back, her head leaning on his shoulder. Her long eyelashes fluttered as she closed her eyes, a clear sign of exhaustion.
"Okay, wife, rest as much as you want," Ace replied tenderly, gently stroking her hair.
While waiting for her to recover, Ace opened the system interface, a familiar surge of anticipation coursing through him.
"Congratulations on making Milf Lilia squirt twenty times."
"Rewards: 2000 SP."
"Congratulations on making Milf Nerissa squirt eight times."
"Rewards: 800 SP."
"What the hell! There are so many system points!" Ace exclaimed inwardly, a grin spreading across his face. Recalling the wild and passionate romantic battle of the previous night, he let out a satisfied smile, unable to resist stroking Lilia's blonde hair gently.
"Since you work so hard, let me buy you a gift," he thought. He decided to purchase her a spatial ring and a set of weapons crafted from gold essence. This rare material, found only in gold mines, possessed properties similar to mithril and was highly prized for crafting exceptional weapons and armor.
The price was significantly higher than mithril, with golden swords and daggers costing double. Each sword was priced at 200 SP, while each dagger cost 100 SP, and he bought one sword and four daggers at once.
With a sigh, he watched his system points diminish to 2100, but the thought of Lilia's joy made it worthwhile.
As he had always believed, strength was paramount in this world. Without a moment's hesitation, Ace tapped the plus sign in his personal status three times, spending a total of 1800 system points. Immediately, his strength surged, propelling him to Early Stage, Seventh Tier.
A powerful wave of life energy radiated from his body, causing Lilia, who had been resting on his lap, to snap her eyes wide open in shock and awe. She had not expected such an overwhelming aura to emanate from him. Surprise and fear mingled in her beautiful eyes, her lips parting slightly as she struggled to comprehend what happened before her.
Leaning back, she fixed her gaze on Ace's face. "You… you… you're a knight? And what is this terrifying power flowing from your body?" she asked in disbelief.
Ace smiled gently, locking eyes with her radiant crimson irises."My wife, don't be too shocked, isn't it only natural that I'm a knight? After all, I could give you an Awakening Potion, so why wouldn't I have become a knight myself?"
"You…" Lilia at a loss for words, her mind racing. Of course, why hadn't I considered that before? she thought to herself.
"What you say makes sense," she began cautiously, "but your strength—your aura—how can it be so terrifying?"
Ace chuckled softly, his eyes twinkling with amusement. "Wife, there's no need to be so shocked. I'm just a Seventh Tier Knight. What's there to be surprised about?" he teased lightly.
Lilia's eyes widened in disbelief as she pointed a trembling finger at his face. "What? You… you… you're a Seventh Tier Knight?" she stammered, then quickly covered her mouth in a mix of shock and excitement.
Ace nodded calmly. "Yes, so please, try to calm down," he urged gently.
"How? How can I possibly stay calm?" she whispered, her voice shaking. "Don't you know the strongest person known in both kingdoms is only a Peak Sixth Tier Knight? And yet, you're already a Seventh Tier Knight—that means you're probably the most powerful person in both kingdoms."
"Bastard," Lilia pouted, reaching around Ace's waist to give it a sharp twist.
"Wife, what are you doing? Stop… please stop! It hurts!" Ace feigned pain, though deep down he knew that if he were still an ordinary man, the pain would be unbearable. Luckily, he was far beyond that now.
"Alright, alright, don't be angry anymore. I have a gift for you," Ace said, a sly smile curving his lips. Suddenly, beside them, a golden sword nearly a meter long materialized alongside four gleaming golden daggers, all gently falling onto the bed.
"Here, take this," Ace said, handing her a silver-colored spatial ring.
Lilia's eyes sparkled, betraying her indifferent tone. "Is this for me?" she asked quietly, her excitement barely masked.
"Of course. You're the only one besides me right now.And remember, you must drop your blood onto it," Ace explained.
"I know, I know—I've seen Nerissa use one before." "Alright, I need to get up now and start familiarizing myself with this spatial ring." Without sparing him a glance, she gracefully rose from his lap.
With a plop.. their joint intimate parts separated. Thick semen dripped down on the bed sheet.
As she gazed happily at the spatial ring nestled in her palm, Lilia settled against the headboard and pulled a soft quilt over herself.
"Hey… hey, wife," Ace called out, a hint of helplessness in his tone. "You were so gentle with me just moments ago, but now that ring is in your hand, you won't even take a glance in my direction."
He crawled closer, reaching out to bridge the distance between them.
"Stay away," she said, though her eyes shimmered with warmth. "You've already worn me out. I need to rest. Besides, I have to familiarize myself with this spatial ring and the weapons," she added, her fierce glare tempered by genuine tenderness.
"Alright," Ace sighed, conceding gracefully before heading off to the bathroom for a refreshing bath.
Meanwhile, Lilia, who had been subtly observing Ace, smiled knowingly. She raised her hand, her eyes fixed on the golden sword and daggers. Drawing upon her innate ability to manipulate gold, she levitated the weapons into mid-air.
Eager to test her abilities , she attempted to control them, but her inexperience led to a chaotic display. With a swish, a bang, and a series of crashes, the room erupted in disarray.
Ace, who had just stepped into the bathroom, immediately rushed back upon hearing the commotion.
As he entered the room, he was flabbergasted by the sight before him. The chairs, tables, curtains, candles, and even the healing potion on the table were sliced cleanly into numerous pieces, as if a sharp knife had effortlessly cut through butter.
Ace turned his head and looked at Lilia, who was sitting on the bed, her head lowered and her face covered by her hands. Looking at the golden sword and daggers embedded in the floor, Ace understood what had transpired.
Ace approached Lilia and gently lifted her into his arms.
"I...I...I'm sorry..." she whispered softly, her voice laced with remorse.
"It's fine; it's just tables and chairs," Ace reassured her, his voice calm and soothing.
"But the potion... it's broken. I can't heal Leighton's legs anymore," she said sadly, her eyes reflecting her disappointment.
"Ahaha..." Ace laughed, his amusement easing the tension. "It's just a potion; I have as many as you want. However, you must serve your husband before taking the rewards," he teased playfully.
"Aren't you angry?" she asked, her eyes searching his for any sign of displeasure.
Ace shook his head, his expression sincere. "Put your weapons inside your spatial ring first. Once we have time, I'll accompany you to train," he offered, his words filled with encouragement.
"Really?" Lilia's eyes lit up, her face radiating with excitement. Even though she was just a woman, she also harbored a desire to become stronger.
Who doesn't want to become strong? Who doesn't want to live longer?
Of course, she wanted it too, especially because she wanted to maintain her beauty and youthful appearance.
Just as they were snuggled together, lost in their intimate moment, someone knocked on the door, disrupting their tranquility. They exchanged a quick glance, then hastily put on their clothes, a sense of urgency filling the room.
"Right away, just wait a moment," Ace called out to the person knocking, his voice slightly flustered.
