Ding Li bolted with a machete in hand, shouting as he ran, "Don't come after me! I'll cut you—I swear I don't want to hurt anyone! If I get angry, I might even cut myself!"
Xiao Chen, watching Ding Li from the corner of his eye, nearly tripped. Damn… this guy is beyond saving.
But since Ding Li was running fast and wasn't in danger for now, Xiao Chen ignored him and turned his focus to Huang Xing, who was calmly smoking a cigar. To stop the chaos, he needed to take down the leader—once he controlled Huang Xing, everything else would fall into place.
"Hurry up, Sun Fei. It's your turn," Huang Xing said, brows furrowed as he watched Xiao Chen and Li Hanhou fighting.
"Fine. I'll finish off this big idiot first, then deal with Xiao Chen," Fei replied, stepping toward Li Hanhou.
Li Hanhou, still raging among the swordsmen, sensed Fei approaching. Fighting spirit surged out of him, followed by an intense and growing aura.
Feeling that aura, Fei paused. Something didn't feel right.
Boom! Boom! Boom!
Li Hanhou spun with both fists like a human windmill, sending several swordsmen flying.
They stared at him in terror. Is this guy even human? How do you fight a monster like this?
"Move aside," Fei ordered coldly, continuing forward. The man might be big, but size couldn't make up for the difference in true strength. Fei was confident he could crush this violent giant.
The surrounding swordsmen grew excited. Fei was Falcon Hall's number one expert—once he stepped in, this big fool would definitely be beaten helpless.
Xiao Chen smashed a swordsman aside with a punch. Seeing Fei charging toward Li Hanhou, he smirked. Really… choosing death on his own.
"If you're willing to give up one arm, I'll let you leave alive!" Fei threatened.
Li Hanhou grinned innocently and said nothing.
"Fine. Don't blame me for what happens next." Fei stomped the ground and shot forward, snatching up a machete. The blade flashed cold as he slashed downward.
"Roar!"
As Fei attacked, Li Hanhou roared, releasing the violent force he'd been holding back—like a wild beast awakening.
Fei's heart lurched. His face changed drastically, but he couldn't pull back now. He forced down his fear and swung the blade fiercely.
"Die!"
CRACK!
Li Hanhou's fist—bigger than a bowl—smashed into the machete's spine. The blade snapped clean in half.
Fei froze in horror, instinctively trying to retreat. But Li Hanhou didn't give him the chance.
"Come closer," Li Hanhou growled. His voice struck Fei's ears like thunder. Before Fei could react, a crushing blow slammed into his chest—like being hit by a speeding train.
BOOM!
Fei flew backward, smashing into the wall. The impact shattered it.
Thud!
He crashed to the ground, coughing up a huge mouthful of blood, his face ghostly pale.
The entire exchange lasted barely three seconds. No one reacted in time—except Xiao Chen. Even Huang Xing dropped his cigar in shock.
"You… you… you're a martial arts master?" Fei gasped through blood.
"No," Li Hanhou said honestly. "But beating someone like you? Two or three at once wouldn't be a problem."
"…!"
Fei spat another mouthful of blood and nearly passed out.
Everyone else finally snapped out of their daze. Seeing Falcon Hall's top expert lying there puking blood, their eyes almost popped out. Fei had lost?
And so easily?
From their perspective, it looked like Fei was defeated in a single exchange—and worse, he'd had a weapon while the big guy fought bare-handed!
Even Xiao Chen was surprised by how fast it ended. But then he realized the truth: Li Hanhou had been stronger than Fei all along—he'd just been hiding it. Fei had underestimated him, and that mistake had cost him everything.
Anyone who thought Li Hanhou's simple brain meant he was harmless would pay dearly.
"You just told me to give up an arm, didn't you? Fine—I'll take yours instead," Li Hanhou said, striding toward Fei.
"Stop!" Huang Xing roared. "Stop him!"
"Yes!"
Several of his trusted men stepped forward, pulling out guns and aiming them at Li Hanhou.
Li Hanhou halted and slowly stared at the gun barrels. Hunting in the wilderness for years had taught him the difference between real guns and toys—these were real.
"Damn it… keep being crazy then!" Huang Xing snatched a gun and aimed it at Li Hanhou's head, face twisted with rage.
The bald enforcer who had been beaten earlier aimed a gun at Xiao Chen as well.
"I didn't expect you to be this strong. Two first-rate masters… your company is full of hidden dragons," Huang Xing spat. He had been prepared—thankfully. Otherwise, he'd have suffered horribly tonight.
"Huang Xing, you think a few guns will let you control the situation?" Xiao Chen said calmly.
"Don't try to bluff! I know some first-class fighters can dodge bullets—but that's one bullet. You're staring down several muzzles. Move, and I'll blow your heads apart!"
At this critical time in the Flying Eagle Gang's power struggle, losing Fei was a huge blow to Huang Xing. Rage boiled in him—he wanted nothing more than to shoot them both.
"Don't! If you fire… I'll detonate the bomb!"
A trembling voice suddenly shouted.
Everyone turned.
Even Xiao Chen blinked. Bomb?
"What did you just say?" Huang Xing glared, shifting his gun toward Ding Li.
"I–I said… if you shoot, I'll blow us all up! We'll die together!"
Terrified but desperate, Ding Li held up a remote detonator. He pulled off his T-shirt, revealing layers of yellow tape wrapped around his waist—something bulky underneath.
From the outside, it looked exactly like a homemade bomb from TV dramas.
"If I press this… none of us walk out alive…"
"You think you can fool me?" Huang Xing sneered. But doubt flickered in his eyes.
"Shoot then! Try it! We came prepared—we wouldn't walk into your trap empty-handed!" Ding Li said loudly, suddenly full of bravado.
The men around them stepped back instinctively. Fake or not—nobody wanted to gamble with a bomb.
Xiao Chen studied the device. No way this guy has the guts to strap on a real bomb. It had to be fake. But the stunt was impressive… Ding Li had really come prepared tonight—110 on speed dial, a switchblade, and now a fake bomb.
Huang Xing narrowed his eyes. "Do you think I'm stupid? Fooling around all these years for nothing?" His finger tightened on the trigger. "Want to gamble? I'll help you!"
Terrified, Ding Li trembled again. The detonator almost slipped from his hand.
Xiao Chen sighed. Too young… He fell right into Huang Xing's bluff.
Huang Xing instantly saw through him. His expression twisted, and he shouted, "Kill them all! Anyone who hesitates gets a bullet!"
"Yes!"
The swordsmen rushed forward, furious that they'd been tricked with a fake bomb.
"No! Don't come closer! I'll really blow it!" Ding Li panicked, legs giving out as he collapsed to the floor.
"Kill!"
The swordsmen roared and charged with raised machetes.
