Chapter 2 - Chapter 2: After the Battle

The Rise of the God of Death

Chapter 2: After the Battle

The destruction of Omniverse 7 was beyond comprehension. Craters split continents, the skies bled crimson, and the divine armies of the Ten Kami stood in silence—watching as Daimon, the dreaded God of Death, finally dropped to one knee.

At their head stood Izanami, the God of Life. But his leadership wasn't born of justice—it was fueled by hatred. For centuries, the Kami had feared Daimon's power, his defiance, and his desire to reshape the balance of the omniverse.

Daimon, once a Supreme God second only to the Creator, had dared to challenge the divine order—not to rule, but to destroy and rebuild it in his own image. After endless centuries of rebellion, betrayal, and war…

He was finally falling.

Yet even in defeat, his body refused to fully collapse. As if the universe itself feared the consequences of his death, his broken form began to rise—levitating slowly in the scorched sky.

Izanami spat to the ground.

"Even in death… you're a curse."

The Kami encircled his hovering body. They couldn't kill him—not truly. His soul, cursed and overflowing with volatile power, could annihilate reality if released. There was only one option:

Seal him.

Using the ancient Heavenly Seal, Izanami and the Kami fragmented Daimon's very existence into five sacred seals, each one locking away a part of him—body, mind, soul, and power.

1. The Celestial Body — his immortal vessel, sealed above the Supreme Chamber in the endless sky.

2. The Cursed Sword — his living weapon, hungry for divine blood, buried within a dying star in Omniverse 4.

3. The Eye of Avarice — a relic passed down from Daimon's father, chained beneath the frozen sea of Omniverse 1.

4. A Forbidden Skill — one erased from Daimon's own memory.

5. ??? — its location and form unknown, even to the Kami.

With the seals in place, Daimon's essence shattered. His body dropped like a meteor, unmoving… but unkillable.

Far above, in the Central Realm, the Supreme Being watched it all. His voice echoed in the void.

"I created you to restore balance… but you chose chaos."

The Kami believed their task was finished. They turned their backs and vanished.

But they were wrong.

The seals were flawed.

The keys—meant to unlock Daimon's pieces—were scattered randomly across the omniverse… hidden in items, places, or people tied to his forgotten memories.

And deep within those fractured memories…

A remnant of Daimon smiled.

Because even though the Kami erased most of his past, they missed one crucial truth:

*Daimon's story was only just beginning.*
