Chapter 51 - Chapter 46: Daimon vs The Beast

The Rise of the God of Death

Chapter 46: Daimon vs The Beast

From the shattered pieces of the statue, a massive creature emerged — towering on two legs, covered in short white fur. A glowing gem pulsed in its forehead, and its eyes burned with a deadly crimson light.

It was a Hybrid Elemental Gorilla.

> "I sense a huge aura from it…"

"This is going to be interesting."

The beast roared and charged, swinging a colossal punch that shook the ground.

> "It still drove me back even when I blocked it."

Daimon took a step back, his tone calm but sharp.

"It hasn't even used its elements yet… then I guess you'll have to use it the hard way."

A cold smile appeared on his face. Lightning began to flicker around him as he summoned his temporary sword and dashed straight toward the creature.

The gorilla prepared to counter, its fists glowing blue. Suddenly, it unleashed a flurry of snow-infused punches that tore through the air.

> "I'm not a big fan of snow."

Daimon weaved between the strikes, his movements blurring. In an instant, he vanished — only to reappear behind the beast.

> "Sorry, but the kids are watching."

He raised his sword toward the sky. Lightning gathered at the blade's edge, forming a violent storm of cursed energy.

> "I hope you don't survive…" His tone darkened. "Because if you do, I'll have to use that skill."

With a burst of speed, Daimon struck. The attack was swift — a single, precise slash that severed the gorilla's right arm.

> "At least I cut something."

The creature's roar echoed across the mountains. But then, its aura changed. Flames began swirling around its right arm, frost gathering in its left.

Fire and snow merged — forming a terrifying dual force.

The True Elemental Gorilla was born. Its power rivaled that of three Monarchs combined.

> "Yup… here he is."

The monster's gaze locked onto Daimon. It let out a thunderous roar and charged.

> "I don't need this right now," Daimon sighed, storing away his sword.

He cracked his neck and stretched his arms casually as the monster closed the distance. Their fists collided again and again, shockwaves exploding with each impact.

Then the gorilla slammed its fists into the ground. Ice spikes burst upward in every direction.

> "Oh boy…"

Daimon twisted and leapt through the storm of jagged ice. But the monster vanished from sight.

> "Where did he go?"

A sudden surge of killing intent appeared behind him.

> "There you are."

Daimon spun instantly.

> "Dimensional Fist!"

Their punches collided — the explosion sent the gorilla flying backward, smashing through a cliff wall.

Before Daimon could breathe, another massive spike shot from the ground, aiming straight for his heart. Lightning crackled violently around him.

> "My element… it's acting on its own!"

The spike was inches away. Daimon's eyes flared — time seemed to stop. In one final burst, his lightning erupted, shattering the spike into dust.

He landed on one knee, breathing heavily.

> "That… was too close," he muttered.

The gorilla roared again, charging for the final strike. Daimon didn't move. His energy was gone — but his eyes still burned with determination.

> "This is my last card…"

"Aura Release!"

An overwhelming wave of energy exploded from him. The gorilla hesitated, trembling as the pressure alone forced it to step back.

But Daimon was already fading — his aura dimming, his strength spent. The beast gathered its will and rushed in for the killing blow.

Daimon looked up, smiling faintly.

> "It's over, monkey."

The scene faded into silence as the god of death's smirk was the last thing seen.
