Chapter 5 - Chapter 5: "Wisa" II

The cawing of crows filled the silence inside the church. The girl became aware of the noise and immediately lifted her head to see where it was coming from. A living creature was flying above her.

"A crow? What's wrong with him?" The girl began to move her head back to stare at the ghost with its irregular body, the mist surrounding its body hiding its identity. "Noah... Where am I? And what kind of creature are you?" The girl said in a tone that was difficult to hear.

From the white-haired girl's perspective, the ghost had a very cold and frightening demeanor. The voices coming from the ghost's mouth were very unclear. However, Noah, on the other hand, looked very confused when he heard the white-haired girl's words.

What kind of creature am I? I'm human. He remembered being suddenly teleported to this strange world called "wonderland" and seeing a girl figure after falling asleep telling him what kind of creature he was.

Between the two of them, each has a different view.

Noah swallowed his saliva and then started to say "Well... First, I'm human... And second, I don't know where this is!" That's what Noah said to Wisa. However, what Wisa heard from the ghost's words was "I... Am just human... This is a place..." Waiting for the words from the ghost that hadn't come out of his mouth, Wisa started to walk a little to explore the surroundings.

There are so many long wooden chairs in this place...

That girl felt something other than the ghost watching her. A statue stood in front of her, its head seemingly turned toward her. Whether it was just her imagination or the statue was truly moving on its own without her knowledge.

"What is this place?" the girl asked again, waiting for an answer from the ghost. The ghost didn't answer anything from the girl's perspective. However, from another perspective, Noah said to the girl in a loud tone, "I told you, I DON'T KNOW WHAT THIS PLACE IS!"

After Noah answered the girl's question in a "slow" and "gentle" tone, he began to notice something strange about his feet. They were enveloped in a gray mist that had appeared out of nowhere. The gray mist hid the boy's legs, as if they had been swallowed up by the gray mist.

Wait, what is this?!

Panicking, Noah tried to clear the gray mist from his feet with his hands. The gray mist still clung to his feet... In the palm of the man's hand, who had just cleared the gray mist from his feet, something suddenly appeared on his right palm, a line with a dark light making something on his palm.

"WHAT IS THIS?!"

There was no pain in his palm but the sensation of his hand felt so ticklish, the dark lines of light turned out to form a writing that was so abstract and almost unreadable.

The writing conveys the message "My lord, the girl in front of you is the main character in the story you created, whatever you say to her... The response she gets from you will be different."

"Different from how I responded to her?" Noah seemed to understand the message in his palm. He then shifted his gaze from his palm to the white-haired girl in front of him.

"So this is the main character I created?"

The one word that came to Noah's mind about the girl was "beautiful."

As soon as that word crossed Noah's mind, a dark, glowing line began to appear again on the same palm. The message read, "This is a masterpiece, my Lord. I am very proud of what you have created!"

From this message, Noah began to assume that the message conveyed to Noah was Scrying, a supernatural glass shard creature.

While waiting to see what the ghost was doing in front of her, the girl started walking a little to check her surroundings.

"The ghost didn't answer anything else... I should probably satisfy my curiosity here."
