The room was filled with a gloomy atmosphere, from the curtains to the bedspreads. Deep down, I knew this room belonged to Alpha Kane, and we would have to spend it together today.
I took out the blue rose Alpha Kane had adorned with my hair and carefully placed it in my bag so as not to ruin it.
After changing into comfortable clothes, I lay down on the bed and soon dozed off. I didn't wake until I heard someone quietly calling my name. I opened my eyes, dazed, and saw Alpha Kane looking at me with a hint of concern.
"Are you feeling okay?" he asked, seeing me rub my eyes and look back at him.
"Yes! Sorry, I fell asleep." I tried to sit up, propping myself up on my elbow, but Alpha Kane raised his hand.
"No need to apologize, just stay lying there." "I'll sleep on the couch. We'll have to share a room tonight." Alpha turned away and headed for the closet.
The memory of the previous kiss washed over me, and warmth burned my cheeks and ears.
