Zara
We soon reached the pharmacy, and Kaysir immediately opened the door for me. As I walked out, I wrapped my shawl tightly around myself and grabbed my purse.
"Can I come in?" Kaysir asked, closing the door.
"No, it'll only take a minute." I didn't want him to see me buy a pregnancy test. I walked forward, the snow crunching under my shoes.
Kaysir walked me to the pharmacy and held the door, but didn't follow me inside. I wandered around the store for a while, buying calcium supplements, and then, finally, two pregnancy tests.
My heart was pounding, and my hands were shaking just thinking about what I was doing.
"It's just a precaution," I reminded myself. "It can't be, I'm pregnant."
Filling my lungs with oxygen, I cautiously approached the counter. I was greeted by a girl with red hair and a gentle smile. I smiled back and handed her the bottle of calcium supplements and the pregnancy tests.
