Chapter 7 - Chapter Seven – Threads of Attraction

I paced my room, crimson energy curling lazily around my fingers, though my mind was the real fire. Natasha Romanoff. The woman had dismantled me in the training room with effortless grace, yet I hadn't felt this alive in… ever.

The thing was, I wasn't going to let that moment be the end. Oh no. She had challenged me, tested me, and proven herself superior in combat—but that only made her more irresistible. And I had a plan.

Step one: observation.

I would watch her movements, notice her routines, the way she lingered by the training equipment, the subtle shifts in her expression when she thought no one was looking. Every twitch, every glance, every tiny habit was data. And like any experiment, I would catalog it, analyze it, use it.

Step two: proximity.

Opportunities presented themselves everywhere. Mission briefings, training sessions, even casual team exercises. I could weave myself into her world subtly, casually, until my presence became inevitable. Not forcefully, not recklessly—I had to be careful. Natasha didn't fall for just anyone. She didn't even notice just anyone.

Step three: challenge.

I had felt it in that room—the thrill of being outmatched. I would give her that again, in controlled doses. Tease her, test her, let her see flashes of my power and intellect. Make her curious. Make her want to see me succeed. The Scarlet Witch wasn't just fire and chaos. She was brilliance, charm, and allure, all wrapped together. And Natasha would notice.

I sat on the edge of the bed, crimson light washing over me, imagining small scenarios. A shared sparring session where I feigned weakness, letting her come close. A casual conversation in the cafeteria, laced with subtle flirtation. A brush of hands during training drills. Each moment, small but deliberate, would weave a thread between us—a web she couldn't ignore.

And as I considered it all, a slow smile spread across my face.

I wasn't just alive in this world. I was in control. I was brilliant. I was Wanda Maximoff—the Scarlet Witch. Immortal potential, reality-warping power, and now… desire. Desire for Natasha Romanoff.

It wasn't just fantasy anymore. It was going to be reality.

And I would make sure of it.
