By the time we finished with our little Christmas lunch, it was already late into the evening. Gavin, just like Maya, was tipsy as hell, and this was mostly because she kept pouring drinks into his mouth, just like she did hers, and for some reason, he couldn't say no to her.
I smiled softly as I walked over to the door and held it open for them, laughing when they both stumbled out of the house together whilst laughing like maniacs as they did.
And goddess, I hated to say this but they sure did look so good together! They were like two pieces of a puzzle meant to fit… and it hurt to realize that I could never bring myself to experience what they felt for each other,
— the fiery passion. The raw emotion. The bond. The everything.
I could never experience any of that and it made me feel left out.
