In a secluded dark room, a woman is sitting on a office chair as she looked at the documents on top of her table. Each word made her more serious as she slowly lean in to analysed everything.
Word by word, sentence by sentence, it scream trouble from her perspective. As she finished reading, a annoyed sigh escape from her beautiful red lips.
"So, your telling me the invaders we hired failed to do their job?"
A petite girl with glasses was standing on the other side of the table, and after she spoke, the petite girl flinched. She wasn't sure if the information that just came is reliable and trustworthy, but what is she supposed to say? She didn't have a choice but to say the truth, even if it's a bad one.
"Yes... Sadly we didn't pick up any movements since the day they were hired... It is most likely they have failed to do so..."
"I see. So you're saying they can't even do their job after letting them sneak in?"
Each word, each tap of a finger. It seems she's seriously mad about this.
'Those supplies could've helped us survive longer before we establish the plan. And since it's a secrecy, we hired some invaders we intentionally let in through the frontlines. And your saying it was stopped by some mere three platoons that's escorting the ship?'
What happened to those three platoons? Did you disposed of them at least?"
"Um... A-acording to the information I got, only one survived when the ship arrived on the frontline..."
"At least they cause some casualties with their pathetic lives. Some kind of invaders they are."
She sighed in disappointment as she raise a mug, sip the coffee inside it and put it back down. As she think what her next move is, she noticed a biography of one of the commanders.
"Kitoya Zero."
The name rang throughout the room as she intensely stared at the profile picture.
'The only commander who was able to survive.'
"Hm?"
As she continue to read the biography, her shock deepens.
'You're telling me a rookie survive with a single angel?... How is that possible?... No commander has ever achieved this...'
"Tell me pyra, how did a rookie commander survive such ambushed? We picked those invaders due to their strengths, so how did a rookie was able to come out alive? It was an abush too."
"W-well... The intel said his angel was able to transform into her second mode."
"!!"
Her eyes darted towards pyra as she muttered the last words.
'Second mode? Coming from a rookie commander? That doesn't make any sense! You're telling me a rookie commander is capable of using second mode?!'
"You think I have the time to joke around pyra? Tell me the truth. I want the full truth."
"But... It's true, mistress... That commander was able to let his angel transform into her second mode, killing every single of those invaders we hired... They didn't leave anyone alive."
"I see... Then, this might be more serious than I initially thought."
As she was about to continue, a loud girl who slammed the door open arrived. Interrupting their conversation which made her annoyed. Well, she knows who it was considering that much is obvious for her.
"Lithra!! I've got good news!!"
The loud girl shouted as she immediately run towards lirtha, the woman who is sitting on the office chair, and the mistress of pyra who she was conversing with earlier.
"What is it, yuki."
Yuki, the same yuki that zero and aliya encountered few days ago. The same girl who almost went toe to toe with aliya and could've possibly be killed in the process. And the same girl who constantly think of food everywhere she was in.
"I encounter an interesting fellow few days ago! His name--"
She stopped before realized, she didn't remember. So, she used everything she has to remember who the man she encountered. This scene made her sighed, despite being used to such situations, she still couldn't get enough of these.
"Ah! I think his name zero! Kiyoka zero or something.."
"?!"
"?!"
Both pyra and lithra widden their eyes. She encountered the said person they're having a headache for?!
"Tell me! Where did you met this man?"
"Hm? Why are you getting worked up for?"
"Just tell me!"
'If she really encountered him and survived, he might be bigger threat than those angel association bastards!!'
"Chill... Jeez, why are you fussing about it? Anyway, I met him on the southern central sea. Why?"
"!!"
'That's close to the target location I agreed on with those invaders!! You're telling me he was able to make it back alive and well after encountering yuki?!'
"Not gonna lie, he cooked me a ten out of ten meal if I'm being honest. Hehehe~"
This sentence made her stop. Of course, it's yuki after all. She would even spare someone who destroyed the world if they offered her food.
'But the thing is, only those who is close with yuki knows this. And if he really did gave her food to survive means he either has an intell group that feeds him information or he was just lucky.'
"I'm overthinking this."
She muttered, placing her hand on her forehead and massage it. It seems like stress was slowly building up due to an existence called zero.

"So... You did that so you could recruit some rouge angel, did I hear it right commander?"
"I nodded, I did what I did to the president so I could recruit some rouge angels."
She stared me for a few second before smiling. She put her hands on her chest and close her eyes.
"If that's what the commander wants, I will fully support it."
She muttered, it was like confessing to your long time crush in your highschool days after graduation. That's how the atmosphere felt as I looked at the girl in front of me. She's not an angel. She's not a weapon for war. She's not an emotionless being. She is a girl, that I happen to be fond of. A girl I deeply valued not because of her being angel, but because of who she is, like a lovely and doting wife. That's who she is for me, and nothing else.
"Thanks."
I smiled.
Now, going back to her question, I needed kisha, the president of the double a, to recruit some rouge ones. What? It's illegal to recruit a rouge angel as they committed the number one rule against their own commander. And that is to let them die and not die with them. That's sadly is the reason why they're categories differently compare to archi angels.
'If your commander dies, you shall too.' that's what the motto of this world is. Kinda messed up if you think about it since angels are not machine or a weapon, they're also once a human just like us commanders.
'I partially blame the school for it. Since that's where everything starts.'
Anyway, since I have kisha on my side now, she can use her connection as the general's daughter and being the president of the double a to make an exception.
"With this, the first step is done. Now, this is where everything begins."
I muttered seriously. Everything that just happened? It's all a tutorial. An introduction on what you will encounter in the near future. A free taste if you will.
A looked down on my hand, I was holding a flier that has a huge red skull on top of it. Below, some words were written that I shouldn't be able to understand but with the body's memories, it was all good.
"Let's go. We're going to [Outskirt]."
[Outskirt], a place full of dangers as it was right next to the frontline. It was either full of rouge angels or some invaders that somehow got through the humanity's frontlines.
Well, it was either a betrayal or some rouge that desperately needed helped. Just like a certain group of people where yuki is in. The [Atrocious Knights]. A group of rouge angels that consist of crazy and lunatic ones. Every single one of them has a quirk you wouldn't want to deal with. If not for their small number compared to the double a army, they would've conquered the world in a span of days. That is because each of them has different role that has a one hundred percent success rate and one hundred percent of efficiency.
"But, I know how to deal with them. Specially their leader, Lithra. The most ruthless, cold, and calculative angel in the world."
No one was ale to stopped her except the plot armour. That's right, she died to our mc because he somehow caught her off guard and was able to take the shot, killing her effectively.
That's bullshit! Her second mode, [Annihilator], can pretty much disintegrate everything on sight. She didn't even need to do anything as it was a passive type while also being an active type at the same time. But the mc who only has a pistol, was able to killed her. If that's not plot armour at it's finest then I don't know what is, because there's no way I would survive against someone like her without good enough angels and skills. Tactics would barely work 'IF' she didn't know you or have no information of you whatsoever.
"I know she already has some information about me and what my angel can do. She even knows aliya can activate her second mode, making her connections top notch. She's usually updated and have ears everywhere you go. The outskirt is pretty much her territory, making her a pain for the double a hq."
The corner of my mouth rose. I can't help but smirking at the thought of what I am about to do.
Oh, you're asking what would I do? Just a little bit suicide, that's all.

The armoured jeep came into a halt as it arrived it's destination, the entrance of the outskirt. The second most dangerous place besides the frontline, since it's just behind it. Any kind of angels, rouge or archi, lived here and pretty much rule over as this place is lawless. They can do anything and no one will blame them.
I stepped out the jeep, looking at the hot horizon in front of me. It was like a desert, the opposite of the seas I was just in few days ago. Sweats pour down my face as I look ahead.
Aliya landed down behind me as she quietly stand without any making a fuss about the whether or her deserted surrounding. In her mind, it doesn't matter where they will be, as long as she's with her commander, that's all that matters.
"Commander, is this where you want to go?"
She asked. Not out of curiosity but out of concern. This doesn't look friendly and safe, a possible hidden danger for me.
"Calm down. No one will attack us unless we provoke them. Plus,"
I tapped at the armoured jeep beside me, indicating I'm trying to point out what I was about to say.
"We got this baby here."
It was the jeep I borrowed from kisha, the president of the double a, to ride on. But the main reason of this is, if a rouge saw an armoured jeep that has a logo of the double a, they wouldn't dare attack it, making it less hassle to travel around, and another reason is that it could possibly lead to their arrest or death eventually. Unless you're the atrocious knights, no rouge has the courage to attack or get near it.
"Let's go, I'm trying to recruit someone here."
The Atrocious Knights are at the other side of the outskirt I am in so I wouldn't be fighting them. After all, I'm still a stranger except for yuki, who, I could tell, is still wary of me. She didn't completely trust me yet, ehich is understandable. We were even lucky enough to survive when we encounter her that day, because she would kill people who are related to double a or commanders entirely, without any hesitation.
I didn't even know why I was spared. When I first encounter her back then, she killed me immediately, resetting my level back to the beginning. The same level I grind so hard.
I sighed, just thinking about it makes my head hurt. She was one of the 'pain in the ass' back when I was playing the game.
It was at stage four to five, where a group consisted of rouge angels called Atrocious Knights were introduced. They were ruthless, merciless even. They didn't spare anyone who were affiliated with the double a hq. They even went as far as attacking the domain, mainly the hq inside of it. They were trying to destroy it so there's bo two types of angel, only rouge will live. They have the powers, they have the authority, they have resources, they are the defenders of humanity, so why would they want someone to boss them around? A normal educated person at that.
I wasn't able to continue as they keep continuing on killing me. It got so bad to the point of everything being reset except the situation or the stage I am in. It was hard, honestly. I almost gave up if it wasn't for a sudden realization. Why not destroyed the atrocious knights? Destroy their ranks and slowly dismantle them until their leader is the only one left. That's how I was able to cripple the once mightiest and strongest group of rouge angels. But it was too late. I can respawn and everything, my angels can't on the other hand cannot.
That is the reason why I'm doing right now instead of later on. The damage is already done and I cannot do anything about it. The game didn't even feature any revive mechanics, and you can't casually recruit, or I guess spin, for an angel as it cost real life money, which is practically I didn't have. Once one of my angel died, I'll have to painstakingly recruit another within the game, which is another feature where you can pick them, without spending much real money. That's why the game was called 'The most terrible and unbalanced gacha game' ever.
Furthermore, recruiting and raising one angel is much hassle than spending real life money. That is why I hate when one of them die within my platoon. I didn't care about them. I didn't care about what they were thinking or what they felt. The only thing on my mind at that time is the resources and time I waste doting those angel who died. I know, I'm terrible okay? That's why I want to redeem myself by finally taking them seriously and consider everything about them. Their feelings, their thoughts, their words, their actions, their hobbies, their personality, their weird quirks, their weird quips, just about everything about them, I'll accept and pay attention now. I won't ignore anything anymore. I won't be the 'me' in the past but the 'me' in the future.
"Commander!"
Aliya jumped in front of me as a girl wearing an assassin outfit appeared. She was holding a yellow sword that has a draconic style as it's hilt. She appears to be hostile against me as she striked, but luckily aliya stopped it in time.
"Who are you?"
You can hear her hostility and anger as she muttered those words. For someone who is attacking her commander, right in front of her nonetheless, just committed the most atrocious crime ever. She wouldn't forgive anyone who did this unless I told her too.
That's probably what she felt after the girl attack me. Speaking of the girl, she looks familiar. Don't tell me we already found them?
The girl back flip away, landing gracefully in front of them. She then slowly reveal her face, it was full of youth. That's all I can say.
That young, and innocent face... It is them!!
The twins I was trying to recruit first, has finally arrived. Well, it's about to be happen as I am in the area where they usually relaxing so it was expected.
"Can I kill this bitch, commander?"
She asked, looking like a monster that came out a movie. She was not an 'Angel' that came down from the heaven anymore, and more likely came from the pits of hell itself. That's how angry she was. Too angry in fact.
"Calm down aliya. She's just suprise why a commander came here. Isn't that right, [Ria]?"
"?!"
I saw her tense up within those thick clothes she was wearing. Even though it has a design of a ninja, it was completely the opposite as she hates exposing her skin the most. Shock I know such little details? Well, they said it themselves when they were vulnerable. I listened because it was the easiest way to manipulate them.
Now that I think about it, I was messed up huh? Using such small details as a way to manipulate them into thinking I care and considerate enough with their feelings.
I sighed internally. This time however will be different. I will actually listen for once and accept it with all my hearts. They want love? I'll gladly give them lots. Want comfort? I'll hug them so much that they wouldn't even notice the stress vanished. Giving them advices or tips? I'll make them question what they know, and earn their trust entirely.
"You have been following us since we enter the compound. Or should I say, your compound?"
I stared at her as she slowly digest everything I just said. She has that same look when I first recruit her. But I was early this time.
"Why are you here? Speak your intentions so I could report them back at mother."
She finally response back as she aim her sword towards my direction. She was not happy getting figured out or being read like a book. That's also one of the things she hates the most.
"Calm down. I'm not here to fight or arrest any of you--"
"Don't lie to me! You bastards always have scheme in mind!!"
Yup, I tried using the same line back then and it worked.
Her outburst flinch aliya, not because she was scared of startled. She didn't expect someone such as ria who excluding an aloof and emotionless aura around her, to suddenly shout. It seems like her hatred against commander ran deep than she expected since she is a rouge angel who goes against her own commander.
"Look, if you don't believe me, test me. Check everything if I was thinking any strange thoughts."
I signal aliya to stand down and step back, she followed before I started to walk towards ria. Seeing this, her body stiffened, remembering an unpleasant memories that may or may not looked like this. A memory that made her unable to forget it.
As I step at the middle, I stopped. My arms slowly spread out, like how a man finally achieved true freedom, looking at ria full of hope and trust. Seeing this made her question reality.
'What is he thinking? Why would he stopped within my range and spread his arms wide? Is this a trick? No... That angel wouldn't be able to save him no matter how fast she is if I tried going for the kill... So why?...'
"Test me, ria! See if I have any hidden intentions! Dissect my thoughts! Reveal what I truly desire!!"
I shouted, startling both angels which made their body stiffen. The voice I used just now was different. It wasn't full of malice or hostility. Instead, it was full of trust. Full of expectance, hoping she would find out the truth that I wasn't here to make enemies.
"Shoot me ria."
This word made ria's eyes widden. This time she wasn't able to hold her compose and answered.
"Why?... Why are offering yourself?! Why did you stopped within my range?! Acting like a complete fool!! Why!!"
I smiled, raising both my hands in surrender. This is her weakness that I found. Pure honesty and willingness to do anything. How you asked? Aliya and yuki aren't the only angels who has a quirk. Her's can detect whether a person is saying the truth or not. The fact that she could decipher any lies and hidden intentions easily makes her the best angel for interrogation or negotiation.
This is also the reason why I haven't died yet. What? Plot armour? Bullshit. I knew this would happened at the start. If I didn't, I wouldn't even dare set foot on this place. From the very start of our conversation, she was able to decipher everything. I was telling the truth. No lies, no hidden agenda. Just pure honesty and willingness to talk to her. This made her question her perspective.
Wasn't all the commanders evil? Wasn't their mind full of deception and ignorance? Why is this one different? My words were pure. She couldn't fathom how such commander like me exist on her eyes.
"Shoot me, if you suspect anything. I won't move, I won't dodge, I won't do anything. My angel here, won't move or activate any hidden machinery or whatever. That's an order. Mark my words."
My speech made her tremble. It was all truth. He was genuinely going to do it, she knows he would actually follow through.
She lowered her head before raising her weapon. The yellow sword glowed, slowly reconstructing into a sniper. It was very futuristic as it has different kinds of buttons around it's main body. She slowly raised it and aimed at the smiling mad man in front of her. The man who made her realized something.

Before the bullet struck my forehead, which would kill me in an instant, it suddenly became intangible; passing through my forehead before landing on a wall behind me.
Truly exists.
I didn't move. I did follow through every word I said. I didn't dodge, I didn't activate anything, I didn't do nothing. I just stared at the now crying ria.
Seeing this made her cry. For the first time in her own entire life, someone is truthful. A person like me exist, and she was glad to have found me because I suddenly saw her leap out of air, launching her self on where I was standing.
"!!"
Seeing this made me alert, but I catched her nonetheless. After catching her, she immediately hugged me. Her hug was so tight that I swear I would've died if I wasn't able to pop out my head. Since she's clinging onto my head, I looked up at the now crying girl. Her tears dropped on my face as I put on a gentle expression.
"See? I didn't move. I didn't hesitate."
Hearing me, she nodded timidly due to her crying. She didn't know why but when she saw me tanking the bullet that could've killed me without any problem made her feel something she didn't feel yet.
"That's because, I wouldn't dare lie to you. Every words that came out of my mouth is what you will be seeing. Everything that I spout is what will happen. So stop crying."
I smiled, gently wipping her remaining tears that stopped flowing.
"It would ruin your cute face, after all."
"Mhm! Big brother!"

I thought as ria happily licking the ice cream I bought her earlier on top of my lap. Aliya was standing behind me and refuse to sit beside me as it was an act of rudeness and disobedience. She even told me she didn't deserve to be on equal footing with someone like me.
Anyway, the fact that ria is now sitting on top of my lap, all happy and giddy makes me feel at ease.
This wasn't that easy back then! How the heck did I tamed her immediately?! I only said some words that I know would 'calm' her down so we could talk, but I didn't expect it would go like this!! I even thought of some complex shit so it would guarantee I would be able to tame her and recruit her!! You're telling me all of those are enough to convince her?! What the fuck?!
I coughed, internally cursing myself for overthinking. This is just like aliya's situation. Despite only knowing her for not too long, she was already blushing. Embarrassed even, which shouldn't happen yet as she should still see me as only her commander and nothing else!
This time, I only have to talk to ria in order to tame her.
Something is definitely up. This is not normal. Even if I'm a jerk back then, I would still noticed how their affection level rise but it shouldn't raise this fast! It took me two years of my life to just barely tame her back then! Now you're telling me I instantly got her on my side now?! There's no logic on that at all!!
Yes, despite her being affiliated with the atrocious knights, this was enough to make her switch side. Now, before any of you readers type 'lazy writing' and all, let me explain why she joined the atrocious knights in the first place.
[Ria], a little girl who is an orphan along with her twin sister were chosen to be an angel when they were finally able to afford school. This turn of events suprised the two as they didn't expect them becoming angels. But soon realized something crucial that made her become a rouge.
Everyone is a liar. Her fellow angel on her former platoon squad? They all talking shit behind her back. They even include her own twin sister who was innocent and didn't know the truth behind those sweet words. Her own commander? He broken all the promise they both made when they were recruited by him. 'No truth stays the same when faced with reality', that's what she said when she discovered everything. All those truth she was so fond of were all a lie. No, they were all right at first. It just, it wasn't able to stay true. That's all.
Due to this, she and her twin sister defected when they purposely left their commander behind and escape from everything. After getting away, they met yuki, who invited both the twins into the group. But unlike her twin sister, she has a purpose on joining them. She wants to find someone who wouldn't twisted the truth.
She wants them to uphold what they would need to uphold. She wants them to stay on the path they themselves laid out. She wants everything to just stay the same. It was simple yet impactful for someone like ria who could decipher lies and truths ever since she was born.
That is also the reason why she almost killed me earlier. It was supposed to just calm her down as I didn't changed the truth, but it was already enough? That's bullshit! There has to be something going on. Maybe a force? A hidden power or something? Ahh!!! I don't know!!!
Unlike my internal self, I was calmly talking with ria as she slowly ate her ice cream.
"Ria, do you know where your twin sister is?"
I asked before gently ruffling her hair which made her purr in happiness. She couldn't talk for a few second before replying,
"She was searching near me when I separated with her so I don't know where she could've went to now~"
She purred again before stopping. At this point, she didn't care about the organization she once under at anymore. What's important from her point of view is the person she's sitting on.
'Since I finally found big brother, I don't care about everything aymore. I don't care about those friends who deceived me. Even my twin sister was not safe from this. She also lied. She lied about almost everything, and I hated her for that. I hate liars who can't even follow through. I hate those who talk big but can't do shit!'

I smiled, gently set her aside before standing up. She look at me like she was seeing the most admirable person.

Both aliya and ria replied as we head deeper on the town where her twin sister, [Lia], would be.
As we head towards her last known location, we met some few thugs and rouge angels that wanted to either kill my angels or myself. Of course, I wouldn't let this matter go.
When we were getting closer, we heard some gun shots firing on the background. It gave us an idea on what is going on, plus sneaking around is much easier. It was intense. It felt like there was war going on. Explosions going off, lazers and bullets flying in the air. It has the same feelings when you were in a galactic war on star wars. Intense, brutal, and even freightening for innocent bystanders who were in the vicinity.
"Get ready to engage. Be cautious and take everything seriously. And most importantly, show no mercy."
I ordered to the two angels behind my back, aliya and the new addition into my platoon squad, ria. She was new to the team so she doesn't know how I move in battle that is why I warned her. After all, everything can happen in a battle field.

"Damn it!!"
She cursed as she reload her gun. First mode of angels are primitive compared to its successors. It only enhanced their physical capabilities, hence the use of weapons they are usually carrying. Like how aliya is carrying a futuristic assult rifle attached to her shoulders and ria with her sword attached on her back. In addition, the armors they were wearing also protects them from any fatal injuries like heart or brain. That is also the reason why they only cover the important parts like chest, head, and their lower part of their body. The enhanced regeneration can make up to those parts that aren't cover as it can be healed quickly compare to a normal human.
"Why is there a commander here?!..."
She muttered as she take cover. A rocket barely misses her as she was able to sensed it early, dodging a possible death from an explosion.
"Where is ria?!... Just when I need help, she vanished again!..."
Outside it looks like she was talking to her but it was intirely different story. Her ears buzzed as a voice replied to her question. The reason why she spoke earlier, someone was helping her through her comms.
{Negative, lia. For whatever reason, I can't contact her anymore.}
"What?! Did they also got them?!"
{No. The last time I scanned her, she was in good condition. No injuries or in a fatal condition.}
"Then, what's going on?"
She peek over to see where her enemies, which are all archi angels being led by a commander at the very back, and tried to fire. It was intercepted by the other angels as her shots all missed. She reload again, while listening to the voice's explanation in her comms.
{I am not sure but it is more likely she left the group. My connection to her here is gone, she probably betrayed the organization now.}
"What?! That's nonsense!! Ria wouldn't betrayed us! I'm sure of this because I'm her half sibling!"
{Beliefs and reality are different, lia. Just because she's your twin sister doesn't mean she does not have her own will. Well, it's just a theory. After all, she might have been forced to switch side based on the predicament you are currently in.}
"Tch... Tasteless as ever... Those bastards would stoop so low as to hostage my only one family just because we defected..."
She lowered her head in realization. It seems like she was still not used to being chased by the double a and specially not used to this kind of situations.
"We have no choice back then... It's either that or the place being blown into pieces..."
That's right. They defected not because they realized something or they plan something greater. They defect because they have no other choice.
"Why are you useless junks taking so long to kill a measly one junk?! Come on!! Work faster!!"
The commander, who were leading six angels, shouted. Hearing this, the six angels intensify their attack as they were slowly closing in on lia. At this rate, she will be surrounded and get killed.
"Finally! I will have that juicy bounty!! With that kind of money, I'll have women everywhere!!"
He shouted in delight as his angels leap in the air, trying to get a hold of the hiding lia in front of them. Seeing this made lia panic. She has no escape, at this rate she will actually die. At this point of time, she and ria just joined at the atrocious knights and didn't have her second mode unlocked yet. That and she is also just a young angel. That alone is the reason why she's having a trouble against six angels when she could have easily disposed them if she has her second mode. Well, to late to regret it now.
The angels aimed at the panicked lia before triggering their weapons. All kinds of projectiles were thrown towards her as she braces for her inevitable death.
'Sorry ria!... It seems like I am going first!... Sorry if I wasn't able to stay true all the time... Sorry if I was your stupid, pathetic liar twin sister who couldn't keep her promises!... It's okay if you couldn't forgive me... I deserve it...'
As the projectiles closing in, a huge deep red of fire incinerate everything. From lazers to ammo, nothing was safe from that deep orange fire.

A sudden voice can be heard after someone landed between the angels and lia. This gesture made everyone stopped and stared at the newcomer that interrupted everything. It was an angel, clad in a full body armor that fetures hell. The design were chaotic but beautifully well done, just like how Lucifer and her fellow devils are. Of course, this angel is none other than my angel, aliya.
I landed beside her with ria riding on my back, happily chewing some candy I gave her earlier. Hey, I know this would happen that's why I bought some delicacy with me since she's a huge fan of sweet foods like ice creams or candies.

Lia muttered, unable to move and in disbelief on what she's seeing right now. Why is she with strangers? No, scrapt that. Why is she friendly with one of those bastards!
That's probably what she's thinking with that look on her face. Their commander really did fucked them up huh? Well, I would heal those wounds soon enough.

The other commander who were attacking lia spoke. Unable to comprehend why a commander just saved a rouge angel in front of his eyes.
"Why did you save that junk? Huh?! Tell me you excuse of a commander who doesn't know his shit! Tell me?! Do you have any idea on what you are doing?!--"
Before he could stop, a light flashes beside his face, incinerating everything on sight. Buildings, trees, walls, even the ground surface were melted as aliya interrupt him. You might not see her face but you could tell she was mad.
"Shut it. How dare you insult my commander like that."
Ah... You are screwed brother... Insulting me while aliya is on second mode is like jumping straight into a lava with no thought whatsoever. Stupid and reckless at the same time. Well, he didn't know me so it's understandable.
"Y-you!... Not only you interrupted my hunt, you dare raise your hands on me?! How dare a piece of junk raise her hand on some one like me--"

The commander fall to the ground, startled by the sudden gun shot and slowly look toward his left hand. It has a hole in the middle, perfectly balanced and precise shot by me.
As he dropped to the ground weiling in pain, I slowly made my way towards him.
Seeing this, his angels couldn't watch anymore and tried to protect him. Allas, they were stopped by aliya, who were in her second mode, and ria, who crazily emptied her rockets indiscriminately. I stopped ten inches and crouch down. My eyes were full of hatred.
"You know what I hate the most? It's those who insulted my angels. You can insult me all you want, but never, ever insulted my angels. They are my life, the one that keeps me alive. I will not tolerate any hate or insult towards them even if I have to go as far as hunting you to the end of the universe."
*Bang*
I shot his foot, which made him scream again. It was full of agony and despair as he watch his 'junk' getting slowly killed one by one by aliya and ria behind me. It seems like he was thinking of using them to escape, but oh well. He messed with the wrong angel this time. And choose the wrong angel I was eagerly trying to recruit on my platoon.
"W-why are you doing this?! W-why are you protecting a rouge?! Do you not know that this is illegal?!"
"Illegal? Ah... It is illegal... I forgot it was not allowed to recruit rouge angels..."

I smiled. Not the happiness or excitement. It was the kind of smile you see on a horror fiction. Absolute pure terror and chaotic, like I came out of straight from the movies. It was so scary that it made him piss his pants which earned a chuckle from me.
"You think I would do this carelessly? Dumbass, I have some connections to make it happened. I can twist the truth, makie illegal legal."
His eyes widden in horror. He realized where I was going at as he pointed his shaking finger. He muttered, horrified.
"Y-you're a monster!... You're not a commander but a monster just like those invaders!!"
He shouted, attracting both ria and aliya's attention. That declaration made both of them grumble. With those looks, if it weren't my orders, they would have already pounced and killed this dude. No, scratch that. They'll definitely torture this motherfucker until he couldn't take it anymore. Despite ria being added to the platoon earlier, she already showing signs of the ria I know in the past. Ruthless and absolute lunatic towards those who talk ill of me.
"Monster?"
This word made me stop. Seeing this, the commander look at me, trying to see what my reaction is. Oh boy he sure will be surprised when he sees it.
"Ha... Haha!.... Hahahahahahahhahahahahahahhahahahaahahhahahahahahhahahahahahhahahahah!!!!!!"
I laughed. I laughed not because it was funny or it made me funny. I laugh because of the irony of the situation the world is in.
"Monster? Me? You got to be kidding right? RIGHT?! How am I monster when your treating a human out here as an object?! How can you say such words when you were swallowed by it without a care in the first place?! Monsters are not those who bend the rules, it's not those who are crazy and lunatics either!! You know what a real monster is? Those who pushed their imagination into reality!!! They're the one who can't even accept that the reality they are in is not suitable for them!!! They'll do everything they can just to shoved it in and called it a day!!! You're getting it right?! It's those people like you who think they could do everything because you have some stupid power or authority!! Treating everything as a joke!! Treating someone who once a human objects that could be used and throw at anymoment!! A disposable item, that's what you mutherfuckers called our angels right?! And for what?! Women?! Money?! Fame?! Aren't those what you imagine getting after graduation?! Now tell me?!!! Tell me who is the monster here!! Tell me what kind of rights you have to call me a 'monster' huh?! Tell me!!!"
My shout made everyone stopped and looked at me. They were shocked by such words as no one can say such words on this world. It's just everyone trying to survive, and it is understandable. After all, who would not want to survive? We are humans, easily fragile in front of those invaders.
"Ah... Such hypocrisy. I guess, I am a monster too. My bad."

I giggle before a bullet passes through his head, effectively killing him. He drop to the ground as his angels were also finished. Due to the shock earlier, aliya and ria snap out first and used that moment to strike.
"W-who is he?... W-who is that commander?..."
