After that night, the true Hundred Dynasties War began. Lin Dong and his companions threw themselves into this event. After Lin Dong's "tough efforts," he once again stood out, winning the championship of the Hundred Dynasties War. He reluctantly bid farewell to Su Rou and set off for the Dao Sect.

Upon arriving at the Dao Sect, Lin Dong gazed upon the familiar scene, feeling a surge of nostalgia. He followed Wudao into the main hall, awaiting his choice of branch hall.

Above the platform, massive pillars towered, appearing majestic. Lin Dong and his companions, supported by the light array, slowly descended.

"Haha, Wudao, you're finally back."

Just as Lin Dong and the others were slowly descending, a laugh echoed from the front. He raised his gaze and took in the dozen or so figures on the green platform.

At the head of the group were three middle-aged men, standing with their hands behind their backs. Their aura was quite remarkable, and Lin Dong sensed an extremely powerful aura emanating from their bodies. If his guess was correct, these three men were the deputy hall masters of the other three halls.

Lin Dong glanced briefly at the three men, then looked to their sides. Each stood with a young disciple: two men and one woman. Their auras were also extremely powerful, even surpassing those of the patrolling disciples they had seen earlier.

Of the three, the young woman who caught Lin Dong's attention the most was the young woman. She was clearly not much older, looking similar to Su Rou, though taller and graceful in a red dress.

The young woman felt Lin Dong's gaze and looked over. Her expression didn't change much, but her eyes sparkled with joy as she winked at him.

Lin Dong smiled faintly. He followed the usual process and chose to join the Desolate Palace, which housed the Great Desolate Sutra.

In the evening

"Bang bang!" Lin Dong arrived at a small room and knocked on the door.

The doorway opened slightly, revealing a pair of bright, large eyes. After catching sight of Lin Dong, the gap widened, and a head poked out, accompanied by a small, white hand. The hand grasped Lin Dong's wrist and pulled him inside. The head glanced around before retreating back inside, and the door closed.

"Lin Dong" closed the door, and a young woman embraced Lin Dong.

"Huanhuan"—the young woman was Ying Huanhuan. Lin Dong extended his arms and wrapped them around her.

Just as Lin Dong was about to embrace Ying Huanhuan, Ying Huanhuan pushed him away, dodging his embrace and running out of his arms.

"Hmph, you actually want other men to play with me? I won't let you hold me!" Ying Huanhuan sat on the bed, pouting at Lin Dong.

"Um, um... Huanhuan..." Lin Dong awkwardly sat down next to Ying Huanhuan and hugged her. This time, Ying Huanhuan didn't shy away.

Seeing that Lin Dong didn't deny it but simply held her close, Ying Huanhuan looked at him dimly, "You actually want to see others defile me? Haven't you seen enough from the sisters before you?"

"Um..." After hearing Ying Huanhuan's words, Lin Dong didn't know what to say.

"Do you still love us?" Ying Huanhuan asked again.

"Love, of course I love you," Lin Dong replied instantly. There was no doubt about the question.

Hearing Lin Dong's words, Ying Huanhuan leaned into his arms. Lin Dong also held Ying Huanhuan in silence.

After a long moment, Ying Huanhuan raised her head and looked at Lin Dong.

"So what do you want me to do?"

"It's up to you to decide. If you really don't want to, then don't do it," Lin Dong said softly.

"Aren't you afraid we'll run off with someone else?"

"Not only in dreams, even in reality, you wouldn't leave me, and I wouldn't let you leave," Lin Dong said with a faint smile.

Ying Huanhuan was clearly moved by Lin Dong's words, but a subtle smile immediately curled up the corners of her lips. She twisted her body and left Lin Dong's embrace. Then she extended her delicate hand, pointed her slender finger at him, and pursed her red lips: "Hmph, so arrogant, so self-righteous!"

"Then you have no objection to how I play?" Ying Huanhuan continued, looking at Lin Dong slyly.

"Well, whatever you want. What? Do you have any plans?"

"Hmph, of course..."

"Knock, knock." Before Ying Huanhuan could finish her words, a knock at the door interrupted her.

They both looked towards the door. Who would be here so late? They exchanged another glance. Lin Dong understood and disappeared. Seeing Lin Dong disappear, Ying Huanhuan also walked to the door and opened it. As the door opened, Ying Huanhuan also saw the person outside.

Outside the door stood a young man dressed in green. He was quite handsome. While not as bewitchingly handsome as Little Marten, he could still be considered a handsome man with a refined demeanor. Standing in the crowd, he was sure to attract quite a bit of attention.

"Qing Ye? Why are you here?" Ying Huanhuan asked, somewhat curiously. This man was her childhood sweetheart, but that wasn't the only thing that surprised her. Rather, she didn't remember Qing Ye coming here before at this time.

Lin Dong also saw Qing Ye. He didn't react in any particular way, but he did remember that Qing Ye had been a former admirer of Ying Huanhuan's.

"Huanhuan, I made you a cup of tea. It'll help with your cultivation," Qing Ye said, handing Ying Huanhuan a cup.

"Ah, thank you," Ying Huanhuan accepted the cup, but didn't seem to want to drink.

"Huanhuan, this tea is best enjoyed while it's hot. Drink it now, and I'll take the cup back." Qing Ye noticed Ying Huanhuan didn't seem to want to drink it, so he spoke up.

"Oh," Ying Huanhuan thought, putting the cup to her lips. She tilted her head back slightly and swallowed the liquid. Ying Huanhuan didn't notice anything, just that it tasted quite good, a little sweet, but for some reason, it had a faint fishy taste.

Ying Huanhuan didn't notice how Qing Ye's lips curled slightly after watching her drink the tea. When Ying Huanhuan finished, Qing Ye took the cup. Seeing it was empty, his smile widened. He then said to Ying Huanhuan, "Since you've already finished your tea, I won't bother you any more at this late hour. Huanhuan, you should get some rest."

Seeing Qing Ye leave, Lin Dong looked at him with a bit of surprise. As a fellow man, whether intentionally or not, Lin Dong seemed to hear Qing Ye emphasize the last two words "rest" a little, though it wasn't noticeable. Could it be another reason for him to change the world? Lin Dong thought of the night with Su Rou, when Little Marten had asked Su Rou to let them seek refuge.

"What's wrong?" Ying Huanhuan turned around after the door closed. Lin Dong, noticing the puzzled expression on her face, couldn't help but ask.

"I don't remember Qing Ye coming here before, and he never gave me any tea at this time of year," Ying Huanhuan said to Lin Dong, not suppressing her doubts.

After hearing Ying Huanhuan's words, Lin Dong became even more certain that Qing Ye had a problem. He didn't hide it and shared his thoughts with Ying Huanhuan.

When Lin Dong finished speaking, Ying Huanhuan blushed and punched him.

"You actually asked Sister Su Rou to do something like this?" Ying Huanhuan said after the punches ended.

"Uh, well, that's not what I wanted," Lin Dong said aggrievedly.

"Isn't it because you changed Little Marten to do that? So, in the end, isn't it your fault?" Ying Huanhuan said.

"Uh, okay, my problem," Lin Dong said awkwardly after thinking for a moment.

"What were you trying to say?" Lin Dong quickly changed the subject.

"What's wrong with me?" Ying Huanhuan asked, puzzled.

"Didn't you finish your sentence before Qing Ye arrived?"
