Chapter 149 - 34.3

Before he knew it, an hour had passed. Lin Dong had drunk up the tea he had just brewed. He had to start brewing another pot. While brewing tea, Lin Dong couldn't help but think: "Ying Huanhuan should have finished her meal with Qing Ye by now, right? Did anything happen during that time? Probably did, right? I wonder what kind of reaction Ying Huanhuan would have had then? Since they had finished their meal, Ying Huanhuan should have gone to Qing Ye's house next, right? Hehe, I wonder what interesting things will happen next? Maybe, otherwise Qing Ye would ask Ying Huanhuan to go to his house. What are you doing? Maybe you've got something planned? What a shame, I can't see it live! Seriously, time flies by so slowly."

As Lin Dong waited, another hour passed. This time, he hadn't finished his tea; half of it was still in the kettle. It was almost cold. Lin Dong was now sitting in a chair, leaning back, his hands folded across his chest, his right foot tapping gently on the ground. His brows furrowed slightly, his eyes fixed on the door ahead. As his chest rose and fell, a breath of stagnant air escaped his body. Lin Dong was also a little puzzled. "Why is it so slow? Judging from Qing Ye's condition, he probably can't hold out that long. Ying Huanhuan should be back by now, right?"

A few more minutes passed, and Lin Dong had risen from his chair. He paced back and forth in the room, his brows slightly furrowed. However, he wasn't worried about Ying Huanhuan's safety. In this world, they were the most powerful beings, and nothing could threaten their existence. So Lin Dong didn't worry about that. What was irritating him was something else.

Although Lin Dong had initially been very excited and amused by Ying Huanhuan's unusual idea, and even found it quite amusing for a while when Ying Huanhuan was away, he gradually began to feel impatient. He felt that this situation left him with no one to vent his anger on, only his empty imagination. It was simply too boring. This was different from his usual practice. Back then, he was calm and collected, so he didn't feel much. But now, his mind was full of thoughts and he was aware of something, which made him very uncomfortable.

"Damn it, I can't do this anymore. It's so uncomfortable. I know Huanhuan is under another man, but I can't see. It doesn't feel the same excitement as before." Lin Dong was beginning to lose interest in this kind of play. Perhaps it was exciting and fun, but for Lin Dong, seeing the scene was more exciting. This was really too long to wait. If I didn't know, it wouldn't be a big deal. But knowing but not being able to see was the worst, and that made Lin Dong even more uncomfortable.

Another quarter of an hour passed, and now Lin Dong stopped moving. He sat down again, pouring himself cup after cup of tea. The warm tea had originally had a sweet taste when it first sipped, but now the cold tea made him feel a slight bitterness in his heart as it entered his mouth, but he continued to drink cup after cup. A few more minutes passed, and the teapot was almost empty. Lin Dong also picked up the last cup of tea, and squinted his eyes to look at the ripples on the water surface in the cup in his hand. The corners of his mouth twitched slightly, and then he smiled bitterly.

He had not expected that this would be so uncomfortable, but he still brought the cup to his mouth. Just when he put the cup to his lips and was about to pour it out, he stopped. He felt someone approaching the room, and that feeling was very familiar. Lin Dong's originally bitter face suddenly changed drastically, and he became energetic. The corners of his mouth grinned, and a smile appeared on his face. He threw the cup in his hand casually and came to the door. Then after he opened the door, the familiar A face appeared before him, and Lin Dong softly called out the name he'd been waiting for so anxiously: "Huanhuan."

Ying Huanhuan had just arrived at the door. She wasn't as anxious as Lin Dong, so she was slightly taken aback when he opened it. Although her attire wasn't unusual, the flush on her face and the water in her eyes made it clear what she'd just done. After a moment's pause, Ying Huanhuan lowered her head, her pretty face turning even redder. Seeing Ying Huanhuan's alluring expression, Lin Dong's gaze burned even more intensely. He cast aside his previous impatience and, without caring about anything else, he immediately embraced Ying Huanhuan and kissed her red lips. They separated for several minutes.

"What's wrong? Why are you like this all of a sudden?" Ying Huanhuan asked, blushing.

"What else? It's because you're so beautiful?" Lin Dong, of course, wouldn't tell Ying Huanhuan about his feelings just now, or else she would surely laugh at him.

"Hmph, I don't believe you!" Ying Huanhuan also made a face at Lin Dong.

"Hey, forget about me, Huanhuan. Why are you back so late tonight?" Lin Dong asked with a smirk. This was something he was very concerned about right now; he'd been holding it in for a long time.

"Ah, uh, well, nothing much." Hearing Lin Dong's question, Ying Huanhuan seemed to have a sudden realization. Her delicate face, which had just finished making a face, suddenly turned red. Her eyes glanced away, a little afraid to look at Lin Dong, and she answered him in a slurred voice.

Lin Dong was also taken aback by Ying Huanhuan's evasive gaze. He hadn't expected Ying Huanhuan to react so strongly to his question. A question suddenly surfaced in Lin Dong's mind: "What happened when Ying Huanhuan and Qing Ye were out for so long tonight?"

"Huanhuan, what on earth happened?" Lin Dong couldn't help but ask, driven by questions and curiosity.

"Ah! That's too... stop asking!" Ying Huanhuan lowered her head even lower. She didn't directly answer Lin Dong's question, but instead, blushing, pushed him away and ran back inside, throwing herself on the bed and hiding under the covers.

Lin Dong hurried after her. He wasn't going to let Ying Huanhuan go just like that. She'd been feeling so pent up tonight, how could she not have an explanation? So, Lin Dong grabbed Ying Huanhuan from outside the covers to prevent her from escaping, then continued to demand, "Huanhuan, tell me quickly, what did you do tonight?"

"No, I won't tell you," Ying Huanhuan began to struggle.

"Then give me the mental recordings, and I'll take a look myself," Lin Dong said, taking a step back.

Ying Huanhuan stopped struggling. She poked her head out from under the covers, her face still flushed. She weakly asked Lin Dong, "Can you please not look?"

"Huh? Why?" Lin Dong asked, puzzled.

"This is... so embarrassing!" Ying Huanhuan huddled herself in Lin Dong's embrace.

"No, no, I want to see. You've been out for so long. I want to know what you all did." Seeing Ying Huanhuan like this, Lin Dong's interest grew even more intense. He wanted to know what Ying Huanhuan had experienced tonight.

"Stop looking..." Ying Huanhuan's eyes flickered as she looked at Lin Dong pleadingly.

"Then I won't watch. Just tell me directly," Lin Dong said with a wicked smile. If he could get Ying Huanhuan to tell him, it would be so different. Even if he didn't show her, it would be completely worth it.

Seeing Lin Dong's interest, Ying Huanhuan's pretty face flushed. After a moment's hesitation, Ying Huanhuan pursed her lips, produced a ball of light, and reluctantly handed it to Lin Dong, glaring at him with a blushing face.

"Hehe, Huanhuan, that glare of yours is so pretty," Lin Dong teased, looking at Ying Huanhuan's harmless glare. It wasn't that it was harmless, but it didn't look intimidating or threatening at all. It was simply endearing and charming, and in that respect, it was quite potent. Lin Dong took the mental record, smirked at Ying Huanhuan, and said, "Then I'll take a look."

"Go ahead, look, I'll stare you to death. Look somewhere else." Ying Huanhuan's face was still red. She bit her lip lightly, glaring at Lin Dong fiercely, then pulled the covers up again and retreated.

Lin Dong glanced at Ying Huanhuan beneath the covers, smiled slightly, and waved his hand, pausing time. He then held the mental record in his hand like a treasure, took a breath, and connected his mind to the mental record. Then he said, "Alright, let's see what Ying Huanhuan and Qing Ye did tonight."
