I appeared at a similar place before, but looking around the place, I saw the village, in a rather destroyed conditions. Though, it wasn't the same as before, is it rewriting the past as the condition of a place when I die? Seems like its particular odd... . I looked around, seeing my crew member was injured and unchanged from the time before I died, well, Jane was the same size as she was before this, a giant... then, Maren, she was full of bruises at her hand and her leg for her charge before... Drube, on the other hand, was only left with a minor wounds, I guess he was great at self-defense with combat.
"Jane, how did you became a giant?" I asked out of curiosity, testing if they remember about their conditions before this.
"I was like this since birth," she answered, which wasn't the answer I wanted. Thinking to myself that they don't remember their condition before the event of my dead. I wanted to test it but I will have to ask everyone first, to make sure they, truly don't remember past events.
"Drube, why did you have that wound?" I asked again, out of curiosity.
"I don't really remembered what happened, that left this wound on me," Drube answered with seriousness, well, quite intrigued by this, I think I will ask Maren about her bruises too.
"Maren, do you remember what gave you those bruises?" I asked again out of curiosity, waiting for her response to this question, but I am afraid that I would raise some suspicion.
"I maybe got it from...punching too much?" Maren answered, but it was full of uncertainty, maybe they really forget what happened...well, I notice this monocle, but like a hologrammic visor, but I didn't wear this before, maybe it was something, like a gift from an undenifined person, but this is something I cannot let go, I must know what are we in, and how to leave. I clicked on a button that was with the monocle-like hologrammic visor, it shows a hologram screen, which only I could see, this screen shows about something that isn't possible...skills that are impossible, Telekinesis, it is impossible, but since maybe this is a world where physic isn't a true concept. We continue to move pass the ruins of the chaotic village, I try testing my newfounded power, to lift a rock, first I struggled, but knowing how to control this power, I could lift it now, I am still wonder if this is truly real...or an experiment.
"Do you guys know how we got here?" I asked, just to make sure they are real...and not a recreation of them...
"We got here, by the creation of the codex and the experimental test of it, though it failed, and we end up here," Maren answered, the outcome that was accepted by me, though, I have come to think of it, didn't I explain to them that, we are here, because of time travel, this was the explanation that they have agreed on..nevertheless they all argeed on Maren's explaination on how are we here, I am still baffled by it, is it truly that? The atmosphere dropped silence as they finished chattering about it..I wonder what will happen next...
