Chapter 66 - Black Witches

Cecilia processed what he just said, "How do you know all these," Cecilia asked, utterly baffled by his level of intelligence, she couldn't believe she underestimated him, he was too intelligent.

 "I read too many books." He answered and she nodded slowly before he continued. We need a piece of pure silver and a piece of pure gold," Miles concluded. "Not just a sovereign coin, but something substantial and magically inert. The Black Witches designed their books to be read only by their kind, but this riddle is the backdoor.

 Cecilia and Miles began their rapid walk back toward the apartment, their minds reeling from the confrontation and the new clues. As they hurried down a cobbled path, Cecilia stepped on something hard. She immediately stopped, her senses sharpened by the recent near-death experience. "Miles, wait," she said, looking down.

 Miles, focused on the need for speed, turned, curious as to why she had paused. "What is it?" he asked impatiently.
