After leaving the dungeon, the American hunters wasted no time in booking their flights to leave the next day.
They requested the news if Christopher Reed's death not be announced until they got back to their country.
Minho also prepared to return to Korea the next day. He felt uneasy staying in a country where he had to use a translator before he could be understood.
BHO Chairman, Eduardo Silva thanked Minho for helping them solve their problem. In appreciation, he gave Minho a rune stone.
One gotten from an S-rank monster that Jonas had defeated.
It was inside a small box when the Chairman pushed it towards him. "This is my way of saying thank you. The way our hunters explained how dangerous the monsters deeper inside the dungeon were, I couldn't help but think a simple thank you would not be enough."
The translator told Minho the Chairman's words and Minho nodded, his eyes on the small box dropped in front of him.
"What's inside?" Minho asked, his eyes never leaving it. He could already feel the amount of mana it exuded.
The Chairman gestured for the translator to open it and he did as he was told, releasing the lock with a soft click before opening it, revealing a glow rune stone.
Minho looked at it for a second longer before picking it up.
His system pinged as he did.
[Stealth Runic Stone!]
"It was obtained from a stealth monster," the Chairman went on to say.
Minho nodded. "I can tell."
"Hunter Lee." Eduardo called.
"I'd rather you call me Hunter Minho instead."
"Oh, okay. Hunter Minho," the Chairman corrected himself.
"Mm?" Minho prompted him to continue.
"What really happened in the dungeon, between you and Hunter Reed? The S-ranks already told me, but I believe it's best I hear from you," said the chairman.
Minho gave an upsidedown smile as he returned the rune stone into the box. "He tried to fight me. That's all," he said. "However, I was planning on not fighting, but then he went on to kill one of the hunters we were there with, so… I saved their lives before he burnt the rest of them to crisps?"
The Chairman remained silent for a bit before asking something else. "I heard you beat him easily. The fire wasn't burning you or doing any much harm… and that your bruises from the fight disappeared. Is it true?"
Minho shrugged. "Yes, it is."
"You also summoned some type of hybrid woman?"
Minho gave a thumbs up like it was nothing, crossing one leg over the other. "Your hunters speak a lot though."
Eduardo Silva chuckled lightly. 'He doesn't even feel remorse for his actions.' he thought.
Minho stood up from his seat, carrying the box. "I would like to go prepare for my departure tomorrow morning. I enjoyed the food and the country's view. It was all nice," he said, walking to the door with the translator nervously behind him.
"We appreciate it. Uh, one more thing, Hunter Minho," the Chairman's voice came.
Minho stopped, his hands on the handle. He smiled, knowing what the exact question was the man was about to ask.
"What are you, Hunter Minho? Are you really… human?" Eduardo asked.
Minho glanced over his shoulder, smiling at the man, his eyes glinting a faint crimson. "I ask myself the same question, sir."
With that, he opened the door and walked out.
Eduardo Silva put a hand on his chin, now wrapped in the silence of his office, he sighed. "Why do I feel like he is the one. I haven't met the second Korean National Level Hunter yet, but… I can bet on the fact that this man is THE Breaker."
… …
The next day came in quickly and in no time, Minho was back in Korea.
He hadn't informed anyone of his return, so he just walked out of the airport with a head warmer and nose mask.
He took a taxi straight to his home and the moment he stepped, he could feel a number of eyes on him.
Passerbys with serious looks on their faces and a few who were seated.
A guy jogging looked at him and turned back to some other guy who looked up from his phone, across.
Minho's eyes went up the opposite building and he noticed a few people avert their gazes when he looked there.
"Mister?" The taxi driver called his attention.
"Oh, sorry." Minho realized he hadn't paid the man. He quickly did so and the taxi drove off.
Minho ignored the eyes and walked up the stairs to the door. He brought out his key and immediately he put in the lock, he heard several clicks from behind.
He slowly turned to see most of the people who were looking at him earlier, pointing guns at him. His eyes went to the building he had looked before and he saw someone pointing an arrow made of ice at him.
He scoffed and slowly took off his nose mask and looked back at them. "Who wants to die first?"
Their eyes widened and they exhaled in relief, dropping their weapons.
"Oh, Hunter Minho?"
"Ah, when did you return? We thought you were a thief or maybe worse."
Minho blinked. "Eh? Who are you people?"
"We were the ones set to look after your mother." One said.
"Oh, oooohh." Minho nodded at them and looked between them as they still stood. "So… what are you waiting for? It's me, so…?"
They hurriedly started going their seperate ways and the ones from inside the other building, bowed their heads in apology when he looked at them once again.
"Ah, I see the Chairman did make sure she was looked after." He was about to open the door when it swung open on its own.
His mother stood on the other side. "What's with the commotion outsi—" she paused as she saw Minho.
Minho gave her a warm smile and she reciprocated, opening her hands. Minho went inside, dropped his luggage and hugged his mother.
She released him and cupped his face. "How were you?"
"Fine," Minho replied, holding her hands. "You've been good?"
She nodded, freeing his face. "You didn't even tell me you were coming back today."
"I didn't tell anyone actually."
"Am I 'anyone,' mm?" She frowned, pinching his cheeks and pulling them.
"Ow ow ow," Minho winced, though he was laughing. "No, you're not. I'm sorry."
She smiled and slapped his shoulder. "Go take a shower while I prepare something for you."
"Alright," Minho said, locking the door. He picked his luggage and went to his room.
Inside the room, Minho crashed into the bed.
While he told Chairman Go to keep his mother safe, Minho did make his own arrangements as well.
Just incase a threat came that they couldn't handle.
"Come in," Minho said.
His window slid open and a hooded person jumped in.
The person walked over to the bedside and bowed. "It's good to see you've returned."
"Mm," Minho nodded. "I got tired of the place."
The person laughed and took off their hood. It was Ah-Ra. But she looked completely human, though her irises were now permanently red. "Let me guess. Language barrier?"
"Tell me about it," Minho scoffed sitting up and folding his legs.
A few days after Minho made Ah-Ra the Hatchery Maiden, he realized her memories were still intact and were even topped with the cosmic information he held. She was also able to fully take a normal human form.
However, since she was already presumed dead, Minho couldn't let her go about freely.
She was still the same Ah-Ra, but she just lost her humanity and is now completely loyal to the man in front of her.
"So, anything strange happen?" Minho asked.
"Yes," she replied. "The Monarch of Plagues. She was here in Korea."
Minho's eyes became focused.
