Chapter 15 - HD 168746

The warrior took a deep breath, wielding his sword as an extension of his body, his legs an extension of the earth, his gaze an extension of the trees and plants. He gripped the hilt of his sword and relaxed his body, a smile forming on his face.

There, facing his opponents, a Giant—no, he couldn't be called anything more vulgar—would receive a name, not the most pleasant, but one that would serve his function of rebirth: eunuch. He who would hunt the monstrosities created by the hands of Apollo.

With time passing slowly before her eyes, she prepared for the battle to come. She took off the beautiful pink boots she had received from her beloved stepmother and tied back her long hair, which had turned crimson with the sword, so that its savagery wouldn't disturb the magnificent landscape before her.

He dug his fingers into the earth, wet from the rain that passed from hand to hand, he breathed in the wind with the scent of his brothers, he could not call them such comrades, since they wanted to kill those who helped him and perhaps feed on the flesh of the one who became his mother.

—How I missed that desire in my chest, the excitement of Ouranos and the fervor of hatred of Cronus that runs through my veins. Goodbye, creatures that mimic my brothers, but are nothing more than slender snakes.

The sword had been absorbed into her body, turning her skin into the red earth she trod upon, her small body like a butterfly's cocoon closing. Upon hatching, instead of wings, she held two swords. The rest of her body also began a rebirth. Her long hair became short compared to her size. Her feminine body was now mature, her curves numerous, the most prominent being her muscles, which, while still lean, were strong. Her gaze deepened, and the advance began.

The giants that stood before him seemed to have already tasted the flesh of Arachnes and Moras. Because of this, their bodies changed, long claws and fur covering their bodies. The giant, with its wolf-like form, howled and dug its claws into the ground, giving rise to wolves made of clods of earth, which joined together at the horizon, forming a large, three-headed wolf.

Joy could not be contained, only released. with the speed of the feet, the movement of the trunk, and the swords became firearms.

The eunuch, as a courtesy to the Giant, made his move. He fired toward the ground, the bullets penetrating the deepest roots, causing them to rise. Like a shark smelling blood, they moved toward the great animal, weaving together and becoming like a spider's web, which quickly caught its prey.

The winged giant smiled. He raised his hands in the air, gathering all the dust the roots had brought with them into a large, earth-colored bird. It charged toward the three-headed wolf, ferociously attacking the monster's abdomen, making a hole through which it burrowed, making its home. It broke the roots and then became a large egg, which quickly gave birth to a new creature, a chimera of the three-headed wolf and bird, each head controlling its own form and power. This was demonstrated by its rapid advance, forming a great curtain of dust, toward the eunuch.

Eunuch smiled. From his look, it was clear that his mind was lost in distant memories, the most specific when he fought alongside the Arachnes and Moiras against Typhon, and defeated him. With his mind rooted in this, he tried to use the attack that made Typhon fall at his feet, but lost that power, which could only be recovered by hunting the Echidnas.

The Chimera became a sandstorm. Looking inside, small bolts of lightning were generated, gradually taking on a less fragile form, shooting toward the Eunuch. He didn't care; he grabbed his sword and thrust it into the ground, burying it in the ground. The roots held it there, and with each blast toward the giant, the bolts focused on the sword. The Eunuch smiled again, and fungi began to grow on his sword. As the rivers struck, they produced more and more fungi, causing the sword to become covered.

Seeing this, the Giant moved his fingers. The dust formed into a shape again. One head began to glow red, and the other two began to turn into hurricanes. When they collided, the grains of earth generated fire. The attack was aimed at Eunuch, but Eunuch's sword released a gas, which extinguished the flames.

The giant, canine-like creature, became enraged. The creature took on a firm physical form, its attacks generated from clods of earth, which moved toward Eunuch. Seeing this, he drew his sword. The fungi quickly began to crumble. Then Eunuch positioned his feet and blasted a blast of oxygen toward the chimera.

"I am the son of Gaia and Amelia von Bingen. Known as the king of the fungus kingdom, the one who defeated Typhon. Enjoy my final attack! FINAL CUT, KINGDOM OF EREBUS!"

The Chimera was ripped in half, and consumed by the blast of Oxygen, which only made it disappear.

—It seems that the time for combat has really begun, doesn't it, brother?—Said the Giant who controlled the bird.

— Yes. I thought the Wind Chimera alone would be enough, I was wrong. So let's really fight.

The two Giants had their chests pierced by giant Echidnas, who bit them, injecting a golden liquid into them that began to burn, charring their necks. Their expressions changed, their eyes turning crimson.

"I swear I will kill all the Echidnas and free my brothers, but that doesn't mean it's something sad, like the tragedies of human heroes of the gods. I'm not just that, I'm something more than a human or a Giant. I'm the one who will kill Apollo. After separating from this child's body, I will reign over the humans and make Mary Shire my queen!"
