-Greymon-

Ethan is gone. He is taken away by that Devimon.

"No, Ethan!" I shout.

A wave of fury courses through me. That bastard, Stane, is going to pay for this. Ethan has always been there for me, even when I was a little twerp Koromon. Now he is in trouble, and I am stuck here fighting this oversized tin can.

"I have to save Ethan," I growl.

I try to push past Stane, but the metal monstrosity blocks my path. He swings a massive fist, and I barely manage to dodge.

"You are not going anywhere, dinosaur," Stane says, his voice distorted and mocking. "Your little friend is as good as dead."

His words send a shiver down my spine, but I refuse to let fear consume me. I will not let Stane win. I have to protect Ethan, no matter the cost. I am going to turn Stane into scrap metal.

"Nova Blast!" I roar, unleashing a torrent of flames at Stane.

The blast strikes him head-on, engulfing him in fire. He staggers back, but the armor holds. Damn, this guy is tougher than before. But I know he is still inside, and I have to keep him from hurting Ethan any further.

I can see Garurumon is having his own problems with Golemon. The rock Digimon is slow, but powerful, and Garurumon is having trouble getting past its defenses. I wish I could help him, but I can't leave Stane.

I charge at Stane again, slamming into him with all my might. We trade blows, each impact shaking the ground. I can feel my energy waning, but I refuse to give up. Ethan is counting on me, and I will not let him down. But where is he? Is he safe? A million thoughts are swirling in my mind. The most important thing is that I keep Stane busy.

I have to protect him. I need to find a way to end this quickly.

The sound of sirens pierces the air, growing louder as police cars swarm the school grounds. More officers arrive, armed with assault rifles, forming a line between the school and us. I am starting to hate schools and all of its drama.

"Freeze! Drop your weapons!" one of them shouts through a megaphone. "This is the NYPD! You are surrounded!"

"Like those pea shooters can hurt us," Stane scoffs.

He is right. I know they can't hurt us, but I cannot let Stane hurt them. A barrage of bullets rains down upon us, pinging harmlessly off my scales and Stane's armor. The sound is more annoying than threatening. I glance at Garurumon, who seems equally unfazed.

Stane, however, is less patient. "Enough of this!" he roars, raising his hands. Energy blasts erupt from his suit, tearing through the police line. Cars explode, and officers fall. I can't let him do this. I must protect them.

"Stop it, Stane!" I bellow, leaping in front of the remaining officers. I spread my wings, shielding them from the worst of the blast. Some of the energy sears my scales, but I barely notice.

"You want to protect these pathetic humans?" Stane sneers. "Then you'll have to go through me!"

He charges, and I meet him head-on. We trade blows, each impact sending shockwaves through the air. His armor is stronger than before, but so am I.

Garurumon, seeing the shift in focus, renews his assault on Golemon. He circles the rock Digimon, dodging its clumsy blows. He unleashes a stream of icy breath, coating Golemon's limbs in frost.

"Now, that's what I am talking about," I shout. "Keep at it, Garurumon!"

"I don't need your encouragement," Garurumon responds. "I know what I am doing."

I slam into Stane, sending him staggering back. He recovers and fires a volley of missiles, but I swat them away with my tail. "Nova Blast!" I roar, unleashing a torrent of flames.

Stane counters with a beam of energy from his chest, and the two attacks collide, creating a blinding explosion. We are both thrown back, but I quickly regain my footing.

Garurumon leaps onto Golemon's back, his claws digging into its stony hide. He unleashes a barrage of blows, chipping away at the golem's armor. "Howling Blaster!" Garurumon shouts, launching a stream of freezing fire.

Golemon thrashes wildly, trying to shake Garurumon off, but the wolf Digimon holds on tight, relentlessly attacking. I know we can win this.

I charge at Stane again, slamming into him with my head. He stumbles, and I seize the opportunity, unleashing a flurry of blows. I pound him with my fists, kick him with my legs, and slam him with my tail. The armor begins to crack and buckle.

"You may be strong, dinosaur," Stane gasps, "but you're no match for me!"

He unleashes a surge of energy, knocking me back. I stagger, but I refuse to fall. I have to keep fighting. I have to protect Ethan.

Just when I think I have the upper hand, Golemon throws Garurumon off its back, sending him crashing into a nearby car. The car crumples under the impact, and Garurumon lies motionless.

"Garurumon!" I shout.

I am starting to get pissed now. No one messes with my friends.

Stane seizes the opportunity and charges at me. He slams into me with all his might, sending me flying backwards. I crash through a wall, landing in a heap.

"It's over, dinosaur!" Stane shouts. "You're finished!"

He raises his hand, preparing to deliver the final blow. But just as he is about to strike, Garurumon charges, slamming into Golemon and sending them both crashing to the ground.

"I'm not done yet!" Garurumon snarls.

I stagger to my feet, my body aching. But I can't give up. Not now.

"Let's finish this, Garurumon!" I shout.

"Right behind you, brother!" Garurumon replies.

We charge at our opponents, side by side. Stane fires upon me, but I deflect the blasts with my tail. Garurumon leaps onto Golemon's back again, and they begin to exchange blows.

I unleash another Nova Blast, striking Stane head-on. The armor buckles and cracks, and Stane screams in agony. He stumbles backwards, collapsing to the ground.

With Stane down, I turn my attention to Golemon. Garurumon and I work together, unleashing a barrage of attacks. The rock Digimon is no match for our combined power. Its armor shatters, and it crumbles to data, turning into a DigiEgg.

The police, seeing that the battle is over, cautiously approach. But I have no time for them. I need to find Ethan. He is the only thing that matters.

Just as I was about to tell Garurumon that we need to find Ethan, a wave of energy washes over us, stopping us in our tracks. A cold terror grips my heart, and my scales tingle. This isn't just power; it's something… else. I can feel the fear radiating off the cops, who are now frozen in place, eyes wide with horror.

"What… what is that?" Garurumon stammers, his voice barely a whisper.

I don't know, but it is headed in the same direction that Devimon took Ethan.

But before we can react, another energy appears, and this one is even stronger than the last. It's like a sun appearing. I felt safe and happy but it was so strong. The terror lifts, replaced by a strange sense of hope. What in the Digital World is going on?
