Watching a teammate die right in front of them,
the remaining Enforcers instantly raised their weapons.
At that exact moment-
as the closest Enforcer to Caine pulled his trigger-
Caine's boot smashed down hard on the gun grip in the man's hands!
RAT-TAT-TAT!
The bullets went wild, tearing into another Enforcer who was just about to fire, dropping him before he could react.
In a blink, Caine shifted again.
One hand seized control of the rifle still spitting rounds,
the other hand drew his pistol from his waist.
BANG! BANG!
One to the head.
One to the chest.
Another Enforcer staggered back, disabled.
Caine yanked the shooter hard-
dragging him into his own line of fire as a shield.
RAT-TAT-TAT!
The last standing Enforcer opened up.
Too late.
Every bullet slammed into his comrade's body instead.
Using the impact, Caine bent low-
his shotgun already chambered.
BOOM!
One blast ended the Enforcer who was trying to crawl back to his feet.
He grabbed a bone cleaver from a corpse's helmet,
stood tall,
and with his left arm choking the unlucky "shield" against him,
he swung-
SHHHK!
The cleaver hacked into an Enforcer's shoulder and neck,
artery spraying in a crimson storm.
Caine shoved his human shield aside,
chambered a round-
BOOM!
One Enforcer down.
BOOM! BOOM!
Finishing shots. No hesitation.
The kitchen floor was silent now, painted in red.
Caine didn't linger-he was already sprinting toward the stairwell leading to the second floor.
Underground Parking Garage
Duggan moved like a ghost, silently cutting down three men.
Of the three Enforcer squads that descended into the garage-
eighteen men total-only nine remained.
But reinforcements were coming.
One squad meant for Caine had been diverted here after the distress call.
Duggan knew he had to end this fast.
He abandoned cover tactics.
Instead, he slipped to his own car.
Door open.
Engine roaring.
Pedal slammed.
The car shot forward, ramming straight into the cluster of nine.
Two went flying.
Duggan kicked the door open mid-roll,
slamming it into another man as he leapt out with shotgun in hand.
The car plowed into a second Enforcer,
pinning him against another vehicle-
a bloody sandwich.
Gunfire erupted.
RAT-TAT-TAT!
The Enforcers shredded the car into swiss cheese.
But Duggan was already gone.
KA-CHAK!
A shotgun round thundered behind one man's back-
BOOM!
Blood, collapse.
KA-CHAK! BOOM!
Another down.
The door-crushed Enforcer finally finished.
Panic spread. The survivors swung their rifles, trying to lock on.
But Duggan was quicker.
He drew his pistol instead of reloading-
BANG! BANG! BANG! BANG!
Four shots.
Four men's trigger fingers stopped mid-pull.
Bullets ripped past him-
he rolled, slid behind a car, and fired beneath it.
BANG! BANG!
Two rounds into another Enforcer's feet.
Screams of agony. He dropped his weapon.
Back to the shotgun.
KA-CHAK! BOOM!
Execution.
KA-CHAK! BOOM!
Another down.
The last Enforcer fired wildly, bullets chasing Duggan's shadow.
But mid-roll, Duggan drew his pistol again.
BANG! BANG!
Breaking his aim.
He hurled the empty gun into the shooter's face,
then-
KA-CHAK! BOOM!
Final kill.
The garage fell silent.
Three squads, wiped out.
On the second floor,
three more Enforcer teams swept through-offices, restaurant, laundry, storage.
Empty.
Just as they turned back for the stairwell to push higher,
Caine was already there.
From above-
BOOM!
A shell took half an Enforcer's skull clean off.
Another blast ripped through the chest of the man hugging the wall.
Caine stepped back, calm, withdrawing to the first floor.
Out of sixty Enforcers who came in-
only twenty-two remained.
The war was far from over.
