Chapter 79 - {Bonus} Chapter 79: Rogue Warriors Unleashed

{1200 Power Stones bonus chapter }

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
A flash of crimson light swept across the room.
One.
Two.
Ten figures appeared before Alex Cross.
Encased head-to-toe in heavy ballistic armor.
Each wielding a Gatling gun,
massive ammo belts draped over their backs,
like ten towering war machines, radiating suffocating pressure.
They stood silently, awaiting orders.
Alex Cross didn't bother studying every detail.
He knew,
these Rogue Warriors would only exist for ten minutes.
No hesitation.
He gave his command at once:
"Go downstairs. Annihilate the enemy."
As he spoke, he gestured to the assassin by the power controls.
With a pull of the switch,
Clack!
Clack!
Clack!
The building's lights flickered back to life, floor by floor,
banishing the darkness.
Thoom… thoom… thoom…
The ten armored warriors marched heavily toward the elevators,
five entering each lift.
The elevators sagged under their weight,
but fortunately, the hotel used commercial lifts rated for ten tons.
No embarrassing overload alarms.
Alex Cross stood at the door,
watching them descend,
a trace of longing in his heart.
If only such a force could be permanent…
The thought sparked an idea,
he might not be able to mass-produce the "infinite ammo, tenfold physique" versions,
but surely he could create a cheaper variant.
Decision made: once this was over,
he would form a special unit modeled after them.
At the hotel entrance.
Six buses lined up.
One hundred and eighty High Table enforcers filed out in squads of six.
Inside the building, the lights glowing floor by floor gave them a bad feeling.
Still, they followed orders.
Five squads circled toward the underground parking lot.
The rest prepared to breach the front entrance.
But this time, they were cautious.
The first team stopped at the door,
carefully checking every corner,
searching for traps.
After confirming nothing,
one man stood, turned back to signal the others,
Ding!
Ding!
The elevators in the lobby chimed.
The enforcers froze,
weapons raised,
fingers on triggers.
If enemies emerged, they would fire instantly.
But what appeared left them scarred for life,
One by one, faceless armored giants stepped out,
each hefting a Gatling gun.
The moment they saw the enforcers,
the barrels began to spin.
"Oh shit!"
The squad cursed in unison,
opening fire desperately.
Ratatatatat!
Boom! Boom!
But despair hit them,
their bullets couldn't pierce the armor.
Not even push them back a step.
The barrels spun faster.
Terror drowned their hearts.
Only one thought remained: Run.
Too late.
The storm of bullets came.
Brrrrrrt!
Brrrrrrt!
The lobby erupted into carnage.
Bullet streams shredded bulletproof glass, sofas, tables, walls,
and the six enforcers who had stood their ground.
Blood mist sprayed into the air.
Flesh and fragments scattered across the hall.
Thoom… thoom…
The ten Rogue Warriors marched forward,
guns blazing,
toward the front doors.
The first warrior stepped outside.
One hundred and forty enforcers,
still unaware of the slaughter inside,
looked up.
Shock.
Horror.
Hopelessness.
It was like the night itself had fallen upon them.
The closest men broke instantly,
sprinting back toward the buses.
Futile.
The ten warriors spread out in a line.
The Gatlings spun without pause.
Bullets poured like a storm,
cutting down enforcers like wheat before a scythe.
Blood sprayed.
Flesh burst.
The rear rows tried desperately to board the buses.
But the relentless barrage caught them mid-stride,
sawing bodies clean in half.
Clang! Clang! Clang!
Even the buses themselves were torn apart.
Armor shredded,
windows blown out,
tires ruptured,
fuel tanks burst.
Gasoline spilled and ignited in sparks.
One bus after another went up in flames,
turning the hotel's entrance into a sea of fire.
The night sky glowed red.
Half-bodies clawed across the ground,
dragging themselves futilely,
screaming:
"Hell!"
"Demons!"
"Help me!"
Their cries mixed with blood foam,
then silenced forever as life drained from them.
The Rogue Warriors stood coldly,
watching the massacre.
Their barrels still spun.
They lowered their guns,
firing another sweeping volley into the mangled remains,
reducing corpses to pulp.
Only then did they release the triggers.
Thoom… thoom…
They turned,
marching heavily back toward the hotel.
