"Two hundred coins!" Commander Casper called again with a glare in Karathra's direction.
"Two hundred and one!" Karathra shouted back.
Commander Casper's glare intensified, but before he could say anything else, one of the other masters beside him pulled him back and stopped him.
Silence then returned to the tent.
Marchant Birdy was all smiles. "Anyone? Anyone? Two hundred and one coins, going? Going? Anyone?"
Nobody said anything, and now Karathra was grimacing as she realized what had just happened. She winced when she looked at Brakthar, but there was nothing she could say, so she gave him a pleading look.
Brakthar sighed. There was nothing he could do as well. The policies surrounding auctions meant once a person started bidding, they must buy if it fell on them.
"Congratulations, female barbarian! You just got yourself the finest blacksmith with just two hundred and one coins! You'll be completing the deal at the end of the auction!"
