Chapter 14 - I'll See You Through to the End!

The unique sensitivity of soul beasts allowed them to sense the intense battle about to erupt.

One side was a dominant existence within the core circle of the Star Dou Great Forest.

The other side was the Three-Tailed Nether Tiger, a seven-ten-thousand-year-old soul beast from outside the core circle, also considered a powerful entity.

As the saying goes, "When gods fight, mortals suffer."

Many soul beasts that resided nearby instinctively migrated towards the outer edges of the core circle to avoid being caught in the crossfire.

Ling Yun and the Titan stared at each other, neither one initiating the attack.

In warfare, there's a saying, "He who strikes first gains the advantage."

The meaning is that in a fight, the one who initiates the attack first will take the initiative and has a high chance of controlling the battle's direction.

However, this only applies when one has a great deal of confidence. Ling Yun didn't think he could defeat his opponent.

He could only adopt the strategy of "I won't move if the enemy doesn't move, and I'll move first if the enemy moves."

Xiao Wu also gave up on pulling carrots and stood watching from a distance.

The two sides faced off for more than ten minutes before the Titan finally lost patience and launched an attack on Ling Yun.

Its entire body leaped up and descended from the sky like a small mountain, crashing down on Ling Yun with the force of a landslide.

Boom...

As if a comet had struck the earth, the Titan slammed into the ground, kicking up countless dust clouds, and the ground shattered under its impact.

With it as the center, all the trees within a hundred-meter radius were blown about by the shockwave, as if they had been hit by a Category 17 typhoon.

Xiao Wu, who was watching from afar, was also affected by the shockwave. She could only cling tightly to a large tree to avoid being blown away.

She stared intently at the battlefield, which was filled with dust, and muttered to herself.

"The big kitty cat wouldn't just be stomped to death by Er Ming, would it? Er Ming is so rough. We're all soul beasts, and it's not easy to cultivate to seventy thousand years..."

Before she could finish speaking, she faintly heard a roar from within the dust: "Multiple Netherwave..."

Xiao Wu's eyes lit up. She knew that this skill didn't belong to Er Ming.

In other words, in Er Ming's thunderous strike just now…

The big kitty cat hadn't been killed on the spot, which made her relax.

The camera panned back to the fight, and Ling Yun breathed a sigh of relief.

Just as the Titan was about to smash down, he had used his "Waterification" passive talent to dodge the killing blow.

After evading the attack, Ling Yun immediately used his mimicry skill to transform back into a Three-Tailed Nether Tiger.

He then unleashed a Multiple Netherwave at the Titan's most vulnerable point: its eyes.

However, the Titan wasn't one to be trifled with; its combat instincts were terrifyingly strong.

It instinctively raised its hand to shield its eyes, avoiding the risk of being injured by the Multiple Netherwave.

But the pain from the impact on its giant hand caused it to shake its limb repeatedly.

Seeing that the Multiple Netherwave hadn't caused much damage to the Titan,

It only singed some fur on his hand, leaving a charred patch.

Ling Yun couldn't help but marvel at this guy's freakish defense. Truly worthy of a 100,000-year-old soul beast.

Previously, he had used Multiple Netherwave, and one strike turned the Human Face Demon Spider into a rain of blood.

But against the Titan, it had no effect whatsoever. What a massive difference!

After the Titan blocked Multiple Netherwave with its giant palm, it then charged towards Ling Yun, carrying the force of ten thousand jun.

The speed was incredible, the power ferocious. In the blink of an eye, it slammed into Ling Yun's tiger body.

And just like that, in the eyes of the Titan and Xiao Wu, Ling Yun's tiger body was turned into a sky full of blue liquid.

Xiao Wu instinctively covered her eyes with her hands.

She didn't want to see the scene of soul beasts killing each other. It was unbearable for her kind heart.

The Titan didn't expect Ling Yun to be reduced to nothing but fragments after its slap.

Even though it was enraged by Ling Yun's challenge to its authority,

it hadn't intended to kill him. It was stunned for a moment, a look of desolation on its face.

Before it could even finish its grieving, the sky filled with liquid that rapidly gathered again.

In a matter of seconds, it re-formed into the Three-Tailed Nether Tiger.

And following its outstretched arm, it surged towards the Titan's head with lightning speed.

This bizarre scene caught the Titan off guard. It hastily raised its hand to defend itself.

But Ling Yun, known for his speed, dodged its hand and jumped in front of its massive head.

The Multiple Netherwave that Ling Yun had been preparing was now unleashed, erupting towards the Titan's eyes.

The Titan couldn't spare a hand to defend, so it could only close its eyelids, relying on their defense to withstand Ling Yun's attack.

Simultaneously, its giant paw swung again, striking Ling Yun's body and causing him to explode into blue liquid once more.

Relying solely on the defense of its eyelids to withstand a special skill granted by the "Advanced Golden List" was, obviously, a pipe dream.

Hit in the eyelids by Ling Yun's Multiple Netherwave, even with the Titan's terrifying defense, it still felt the pain, covering its face with both palms and roaring to the sky.

Far away in the lake, the Sky Azure Bull Python heard the Titan's roar and couldn't help but feel puzzled.

It had only asked its second brother to drive the two ten-thousand-year-level soul beasts that had intruded into the core area out of the core circle.

Why did its second brother seem so unusually angry now?

Could it be that those two ten-thousand-year-old soul beasts actually made Er Ming suffer? That shouldn't be the case, right?

It considered whether it should go over to see what exactly was happening.

After pondering for a moment, the Sky Azure Bull Python, which rarely left the lake, rose from the water and headed towards the direction of the battle.

The Titan, looking defeated, arduously opened its crimson eyes and used its skill, "Gravity Swamp".

Gravity Swamp was a restrictive domain that could control the gravity within the area, making it the ultimate nemesis for agile soul beasts.

Once the agile soul beasts lost their speed, which they prided themselves on, they could only compete with the Titan in terms of absolute strength.

At that point, the Titan, known for its strength, would naturally have an absolute advantage!

Ling Yun also didn't expect the Titan to use this move.

Having just transformed from a slime into a Three-Tailed Nether Tiger, it immediately felt its body become incredibly heavy, unable to use its usual speed.

He could only watch helplessly as the Titan's giant palm smashed down again.

However, Ling Yun wasn't the least bit flustered, even a little disdainful.

So what if the Titan used a domain skill? As long as it was a pure physical attack, it wouldn't be able to take his life!

He was slammed into blue liquid again, and the ground was riddled with holes, as if it had been through an explosion.

Ling Yun, turned into blue liquid, was sneering! You like to use gravity to control me, huh?

Fine, I'll play along! You like control, right? Then try my control!

His scattered body was rapidly reassembling in the air.

The bizarre scene made the Titan feel a little uneasy, and it retreated several steps...
