Chapter 30 - chapter 30: When the wolves are away they will play

After Rhett comes down from putting our bags away, he grabs me and leads me to the backyard. All the girls and their mates haven't come down yet so that can only mean one thing, they are all getting some action. I should have known as soon as they heard soundproof rooms they would be gone for a while, it's hard enough to keep teenagers off one another but add of age werewolves who are on a weekend getaway with their mates with soundproof rooms and I would genuinely be surprised if we see them the rest of the trip. The thought makes me laugh and roll my eyes at the same time. It's not that I don't want to be alone with Rhett but I also want time with my friends. It's the whole reason they were also invited on this trip.

Rhett and I sat in the rustic chairs watching as the sun set and waited for my friends to hopefully come out of the rooms soon. We just talked and joked, of course Rhett made some flirty innuendos. We hadn't done more than make out since we started officially dating. I am not one to go too fast when it comes to being intimate and even though we both agreed this was only a short term relationship I didn't want to just jump into his bed, I know he hopes for more, let's face it he's a male wolf so of course he does, and before Catherine he was constantly bedding women with little effort. Honestly I even doubt he was faithful to her since he didn't actually want to be with her but I don't really have proof of that. I honestly didn't think of sleeping arrangements when Rhett asked for us to go camping and I am definitely a little nervous about it.

"Hey, what are you thinking about?" Rhett asks, drawing me out of my thoughts.

"Just this weekend, how much fun we will all have if the others ever come out of their rooms." I muse.

Chuckling, "Yeah we didn't think that through did we?"

"Oh I bet you planned that very well," I accuse pointing upstairs, "you knew the bedrooms were soundproof and how many there were, it's why you told them as such as soon as we got here."

"I plead the fifth." He raises his hands in mock surrender. "But if it means more time alone with you, it's worth it." He winks at me. "I'm gonna start the grill, I bet that will get them to come down. Do you want to help with the sides or stay out here?"

"I'll help."

We both get up and start preparing dinner for everyone. After all the extra curricular activities they are doing I'm sure they are starving so it's the least I can do as the girlfriend of the host. Shortly after Rhett gets the meat on the grill one by one my friends and their mates show up.

"Mmmm, something smells goooood!" Kyra sing songs.

"Yes it does! I'm starving! What are we having." Sara chimes in.

"Goddess I can eat an elephant! I hope there's a lot!" Jane exclaims earning a laugh from the rest of us.

"There's plenty, I made sure of it. But if there's not, you can shift and go hunting, this area is filled with wildlife and no humans for miles, they don't even hunt in this area so it's safe." Rhett replies.

Shortly after we all sit down and dig in. Rhett wasn't kidding there was plenty of food. When making the sides I wasn't sure if we would eat it all but they proved me wrong. They really did work up an appetite.

"Hey, can we go swimming?" Sara questions Rhett while the guys clean up.

"Sure, there's a light by the dock my grandad built that you can switch on or we could just use the moonlight. We can also build a bonfire in the pit down there. Why don't you ladies go change while we finish cleaning, then I'll go get the firewood for the fire pit."

"Okay!" The girls say in unison and rush upstairs giggling.

"Sure you don't want some help." I offer.

"No you helped cooked, we got this." Greg, Kyra's mate says. "Rhett, why don't you start the fire while we finish cleaning, that way the girls have light by the water after they change. You know they won't stay here to wait for us." He chuckles.

Rhett POV

I took Greg's suggestion and started getting everything ready down by the lake. By the time I finished getting the fire started I heard the ladies laughing and joking together, then wolf whistles from their mates behind them. I turned towards the noise and my jaw dropped. All the girls look good in their new bikinis but Amethyst was something else. I have seen her in a swimsuit a few times when she was dating Cliff and they would either come to my house to go swimming or if we went to the beach but this suit was sexy as hell. She had on this black set with little triangles covering her perfectly perky breasts and from where I was standing bottoms that looked like they may barely cover her cheeks, she normally wore something with a lot more coverage. I could tell she was a little self conscious about the new suit because she was trying to subtly pull at it to make sure she was covered. If I wasn't watching her I probably would've missed it but I couldn't keep my eyes off her. She looked too damn good.

She walked up to me and I grinned at her, grabbing her hand and pulling her towards my chest then wrapped my arm around her waist putting my hand on that sweet ass of hers. I was right the bottoms barely covered it.

"You look hot," I said kissing her forehead.

She blushed. "Thanks, you always look good in swim gear as well." She whispered.

"Oh, so you noticed me." I wink at her.

She slaps me on my chest. "It's hard not to notice anyone in only swim trunks with a six pack like yours. That's one of the perks of bathing suit season, even if you are dating someone you can't help but notice nice bodies around you, guys or girls." She quips.

"I couldn't agree more. Even though I don't check out other dude's. Wait does that mean you check out other girls?" I question.

She giggles, "What if I do? Women are sexy as hell."

"Yeah they are!" Screams Sara.

"That's hot!" Tim, Sara's mate, and I say at the same time as the girls laugh together.

"Let's go swimming!" Jane suggests and we all run into the water to get the initial chill out of the way.
