Chapter 91 - Chapter 90 – The City of Tomorrow

The portal flared open, spilling blue-white light across the Thunderbolts' base. The Thunderbolts stayed behind, their mistrust like a heavy wall, while Aurora, Vanessa, Juggernaut, and Silvanna stepped forward.

The moment they crossed, the air shifted. The roar of the portal faded into a hum, replaced by the sound of rushing cars, neon signs, and the bustle of a futuristic city. Towering skyscrapers curved into sleek arcs, glowing with bright kanji and English lettering.

Aurora blinked. "Where… are we?"

Silvanna's sharp eyes swept the skyline. "This isn't New York. It's something else."

Vanessa's golden-blonde hair gleamed in the neon glow as she spun slowly, taking it all in. "It feels… alive. Like everything's moving faster here."

A giant balloon-like figure suddenly waddled around a corner—white, round, and unmistakably huggable.

Juggernaut muttered under his breath. "What the hell is that thing?"

"Hello," said the robot in a calm, friendly voice. "I am Baymax, your personal healthcare companion."

The four stared in silence, caught between disbelief and awe.

Before they could react further, a hover-car swooped past, painted in bold red and white. A figure leaned out the side, shouting.

"Baymax! There you are! Come on—we've got a situation!"

It was Hiro Hamada, rushing to his robot partner's side. He skidded to a stop when he noticed Aurora, Silvanna, Vanessa, and Juggernaut standing awkwardly in the middle of the street.

"Uh…" Hiro's eyes darted from Juggernaut's massive armored form to Silvanna's crimson aura. "You're… not from around here, are you?"

Aurora exchanged a glance with Vanessa, then stepped forward carefully. "No. But maybe we're here for the same reason. We're looking for someone… a Spider-Man."

Hiro's expression shifted, suspicion flickering across his face—echoing the same hesitation Miles once had.

But Baymax, tilting his head, simply said:

"They are not an immediate threat. However, they may be lost."

Vanessa exhaled softly. "Lost. Yeah… something like that."

Behind them, the portal snapped shut. For better or worse, their journey now lay in the hands of San Fransokyo… and Big Hero 6.
