Seth had encountered all kinds of strange and dangerous creatures on his way here. There were beasts that fed on flesh and possessed eerie mind control abilities, monkeys with the power to read thoughts, and serpents that could charm their prey or lull people into deep sleep with a single gaze. The more he had traveled, the more bizarre the creatures became—each one showing just how much the world had changed since the arrival of mana.

Along the way, Seth had also developed several new sword styles of his own. Watching how these monsters used elements without relying on magic gave him endless inspiration. By studying their movements, instincts, and raw elemental control, he was able to replicate and refine those principles into sword techniques.

In just seven days, Seth's combat power had risen from 625 to 975—a staggering increase of 350. Still, he couldn't help but find it lacking. With the right resources and proper training conditions, he was certain his strength could have easily doubled within that same period.

"Your titles gave you knowledge?" Seth asked, one eyebrow raised as he turned his gaze toward Chu Yun.

She nodded lightly. "Yes, you said you have a title, right? Did you not get any?" she asked, genuine confusion coloring her voice.

Seth frowned, deep in thought. His titles hadn't given him any form of information—no skills, insights, or special understanding.

"Well, my title told me to avoid monster crystals until my combat power reaches 9,999. When I finally reach that point, I should start eating the crystals to raise my combat power further. Once I've hit my peak, I'll need to train to break past that limit. The higher my combat power grows before that, the greater the effect it'll have when I finally push through," Chu Yun explained, her tone calm but filled with quiet confidence.

"I see…" Seth said lightly, his expression thoughtful as he listened.

Before the world had turned upside down, Chu Yun had been an ordinary girl who spent her days watching anime, losing herself in stories of heroes and impossible powers. She had always been drawn to the idea of ice—how something so beautiful could also be absolute and unforgiving.

So when the chance came to make a wish, she chose without hesitation. She wished for the power to command ice that could freeze anything: space, time, reality, even logic itself. The power to hit pause on everything, including cause and effect itself. And so, she received her talent—along with some extra things that came with it.

"Start making your way to my place. From there, you'll be the one handling things on my behalf," Seth said as he turned and began to walk away, his tone calm but final. Chu Yun quietly exhaled, the tension in her chest easing as she realized he had no interest in her beyond practicality.

Ever since awakening her talent, Chu Yun had become painfully aware of how beautiful she'd become. Her appearance alone could draw the wrong kind of attention, and she knew it. The only reason she had pushed herself to grow stronger was because of how the world had changed—how quickly law and order had disappeared. In this new, chaotic age, power decided everything. The thought of running into someone stronger than her, someone who might see her as nothing more than a plaything, terrified her to the core.

'I have to admit, he's hot,' she thought, unable to stop herself from thinking about his eyes. Seth's eyes had drawn her in completely—there was something mesmerizing about them, a depth and beauty she had never seen in anyone before. For a brief moment, she had found herself lost in their glow, but she had quickly snapped out of it, forcing the thought away. She didn't want to find out what Seth would do if she failed to carry out the task he had given her.

Time passed, and the world followed a steady, grim pattern. Each week brought the arrival of a new tier of monsters, each far stronger than the last. At first, only a few of the new monsters would appear, scattered and rare, but as the days went on, they became more common. By the end of the week, they would dominate the land—until the next, even deadlier tier emerged, repeating the cycle once again.

For Goblins, tier 0 Goblins had a combat power of 3 to 8.

Tier 1 Goblin had a combat power of 20

Tier 2 Goblin had a combat power of 75

Tier 3 Goblin had a combat power of 225

Tier 4 Gobin had a combat power of 750

Tier 5 Goblin had a combat power of 2,500

Tier 6 Goblin had a combat power of 9,000

Tier 7 Goblin had a combat power of 35.000

As time went on, the difference between each monster tier became painfully clear. The gap wasn't small—it was massive, almost like an unbridgeable wall dividing strength from weakness. But thanks to the information Seth had extracted from the elf, he understood that what they were seeing wasn't even close to the goblins' true power.

These creatures weren't native to Earth; they were invaders from another world, weakened from stepping into another world. The will of this world suppressed them, forcing them to fight under a constant debuff.

However, that weakness wouldn't last forever. The children born here, the offspring of these foreign monsters, would not inherit those same limitations. They would grow under this world's mana, adapt to its rules, and eventually awaken their full potential—stronger even than their parents had ever been.

The monsters currently appearing could only be called the lowest of their kind, expendable fodder sent ahead like scouts. In truth, they were the discarded trash of their races, too weak to survive in their own worlds.

These monsters mostly stayed confined within their own regions, but that wouldn't remain the case forever. As time passed, those regions would evolve into zones that no human would dare to enter. The monsters would begin leaving their territories to hunt, no longer content to wait for prey to come to them. Unlike the creatures that existed now—who didn't need to eat to survive and devoured only for pleasure—the next generation would be different. They would hunger, hunt, and grow stronger through it, making the world far more dangerous than it already was.

Because of that, expanding one's territory would only grow harder with time. Every new region would become a battlefield, every border a war zone. Those who failed to expand early would find themselves trapped, cut off by monsters far stronger than anything they could handle. That was why Seth pushed for constant growth.

Though in truth, most of that work fell to Chu Yun, who handled everything on his behalf. She managed the regions, directed the people, and ensured that Seth could focus entirely on what mattered—training, developing new skills, and experimenting with magic.

Of course, when the pressure became too great or a new monster tier emerged, Seth would step in personally, giving his people the time and protection they needed to strengthen themselves before they could handle things.

In the blink of an eye, seven weeks had passed since the world changed. For the first time, an entire week went by without the appearance of a new monster tier. It was a welcome relief, considering how many people were already struggling to deal with tier six creatures. Humanity had been barely holding the line, and even Seth—whose strength grew at a pace unmatched by anyone—felt the weight of it.
