Chapter 48 - Returning Home

"Well, this is goodbye. But you guys didn't need to come see us off." Seth said lazily while walking towards a door that stood alone in the middle of a dense forest. Behind him, three of the most powerful people in this entire galaxy stood together, barely able to contain their relief and unable to wait for him to finally leave their territory.

The Abyss Elf Emperor, the Supreme Mages Elf Emperor, and the World Tree Elf Emperor. The three great powers had gathered together here today, seeing Alara, Evelin, and Seth off on their journey.

"No, it's our pleasure to see you off properly." The Abyss Emperor said with a strained, forced smile plastered across his face, unable to hide how much he desperately wanted to see Seth leave. All of them wanted Seth gone from their galaxy.

How could they want him to stay when the bastard had systematically gone through all of their carefully guarded treasuries, taking everything they had accumulated to offer without leaving anything of value behind. Seth could do all that because... well, who could possibly stop him from doing whatever he wanted?

Try putting a protective barrier in front of him; that barrier would shatter like glass as Seth simply walked through it as though it didn't exist. Seth didn't need to have a higher combat power than them to dominate; he was a hax character they could do absolutely nothing about except pray desperately and fervently that he would leave soon.

"Please ignore him," Evelin said with a faint, apologetic bow towards the emperors, causing the three emperors to relax slightly, their tension easing as they remembered the deal she had made with them. When she returned to their galaxy in the future, she had claimed and sworn she would become Seth's wife, at which point she would work tirelessly to restore everything Seth took from them ten times over in value... and yes, they had made a binding oath. So they knew with certainty that Evelin wasn't joking around about her promise, and all they simply had to do in the meantime was take care of the Sun Moon Empire in her absence.

But Evelin wasn't sure that she would actually win Seth over; he was loyal to his wife to the point that he outright ignored her attempts at seduction, even though she knew he was genuinely tempted. So if she couldn't win his heart over time, she would never return home to her galaxy; she wouldn't be breaking her part of the oath...

"Lady Evelin, we wish you the very best on your journey. We look forward to your return." The World Tree Emperor said with a warm, genuine smile spreading across his ancient features, to which Evelin nodded in acknowledgment, following Seth, who opened the door that was supposed to be leading to the mall. The two elves went in first while he followed from behind them, his eyes scanning the area carefully.

Seth closed the door firmly behind them, just to pause after a second, confusion crossing his features. He opened the door again and found it was an Apple store on the other end instead. He was stunned. Stunned for some time by this unexpected development, he shrugged and went on to pick up some Apple products from the displays.

"No..." Evelin and Alara said at the exact same time, horror dawning on their faces. Alara had planned to learn everything this world had to offer before returning to her galaxy and sharing the music and culture with the elves back home... but the door was gone, and they were trapped here.

"Don't tell me you two never saw that coming," Seth asked while casually throwing everything he came across into his storage ring without hesitation. From iPads, MacBooks, iPhones, AirPods, and so on. It was all thrown into his storage ring, although he did give an iPhone to each of the two elves since they had enjoyed playing on his phone so much, so it was better that they used their own phones.

"I thought of it... I just thought I would have more time to prepare." She said weakly, her voice trembling, to which Seth rolled his eyes in response.

"The three emperors were pretty much begging me to bring their geniuses along with us, yet look at you two," Seth said with a sigh. The three emperors had tried to marry their daughters off to him, but he had rejected them, of course, so they asked desperately if their daughters could at least follow him like Evelin was doing, for they knew that a world that had gone through its awakening would be absolutely overflowing with opportunities for growth and advancement. But Seth had still rejected them flatly, not in the mood to babysit anyone else.

"By the way, what is your ability?" Alara asked curiously; she didn't ask back in the other world, but here, no one should be listening in on their conversation, right?

"It's considered rude to ask someone about their ability," Evelin said coldly, her tone sharp with disapproval.

"My ability is a fusion of multiple abilities that birth an ability I call Nexus. It's the ultimate defense, attack, sensory, and regeneration power all rolled into one." Seth said lazily while walking off towards his destination, the two elves following him home.

"At level one, it's called Unreachable. I pretty much make the distance between myself and an enemy infinite. It's purely a space ability, where I simply divide the space between myself and an incoming attack infinitely. And since no matter how many times you divide a number by zero, you can never reach zero, which is me." Seth explained lazily, leaving Evelin completely speechless, that he would just freely give them this crucial information without hesitation.

"Level two is called Unstoppable. I pretty much have a vector shield around me at all times, constantly shielding me from all vectors and controlling them perfectly. The only weakness and limitation to this is unknown vectors—a vector I haven't seen before would be able to bypass this defense." Seth continued, leaving Evelin speechless once more, for she knew that Seth's senses were stupidly overpowered beyond reason. What vector could possibly exist without him knowing about it?

Well, this vector control had another significant weakness that Seth didn't speak about out loud. For example, if someone punched Seth and Seth only had Vector Shield active, normally that hand would have shattered instantly as the power behind that punch is sent back at them with greater force. But what if at exactly the right moment, they pulled back their fist? This would lead to the Vector Shield instead of sending the force back at the attacker, but instead redirecting it at Seth himself.

Vector Shield also had its limits in terms of raw power; for example, something that Seth simply couldn't grasp or comprehend would be too much for it to properly act upon. As Seth used this power using mathematical calculations, it meant that attacks that transcended his understanding of math would bypass his control entirely. Think of a universe-ending attack—Seth had no way to grasp and comprehend such a massive Vector...

"Level three is called Unchangeable. Just call it time stop if that's easier to understand—it pretty much pauses time on me, making me a walking paradox who can't be affected by anything and everything, yet I would still be able to affect everything else around me." Seth said lazily. But this ability had its own weakness, for so long as his time was frozen in place, his heart wasn't beating. He had a total of twenty-five seconds to use this before his heart exploded from the strain, with a one-minute cooldown period before he could use it again.

"T-That's not fair at all, how is anyone supposed to harm you?" Evelin said in disbelief; she had never heard of anything so ridiculously overpowered in her entire life. Her SSS-tier talent could potentially help her cover maybe one or possibly two of those passive defenses of his with enough effort... but all three at once?

"Wait, can they fuse together??" Alara asked with shock evident in her voice, making Evelin's eyes widen in absolute horror at that terrifying realization. Just how overpowered was Seth?

"Of course, they can fuse, with them fusing together, their abilities become far more powerful than when they're used separately. Unreachable is weakened due to not being fused with Unchangeable. After all, what is space without time to give it structure and meaning? Once Unchangeable fuses with Unreachable, the two powers become infinitely stronger than they were apart. Unstoppable only pushes that combined strength to even greater levels beyond comprehension." Seth said lazily, his tone suggesting this was completely obvious.

"Weakness?" Evelin couldn't help but ask, forgetting that such questions shouldn't be asked, her voice carrying a note of desperation. Just how would anyone possibly hope to defeat Seth in combat?

As a person grows stronger over time, the more of their skill's full capability they should be able to show and utilize, so with Seth's skill being this utterly broken while he was still this weak in terms of tier, plus the skill only being at level three out of 5... wasn't it far too overpowered?

[A/N: Unreachable might as well be considered a SSS tier ability. With Unchangeable fused together, it rivals Chu Yin's talent at full potential. With Unstoppable, only a few Ur tier abilities can hope to harm Seth.]
