Chapter 59 - Dwarven Empire 2

[Name: Dwalin

Race: Dwarven Dragon God

Talent: Blacksmithing God (Ur Rank)

Title: [Gandson Of the First Emperor], [Born Genius], [Sun Forger]

Tier: 7 Tier (1 billion/ 10 trillion XP)

Combat Power: 897 sextillion(x10 with gear/ x10 Within Territory/??? With Blacksmithing)]

"Haha, do you know what I need when blacksmithing?" The Dwarf asked with a wide grin spreading across his face.

"Hopefully, love," Seth said, making the Dwalin burst into hearty laughter that echoed around them. After a moment, the dwarf waved his hands in a gesture, waving at them to follow him out of the store.

"Sadly, peace talks don't happen because one person wishes for it. Let me see your worth," He said, his tone shifting to something more serious. Seth simply shrugged his shoulders in response and followed him without complaint. The dwarf shot into outer space above the planet, with Chu Yin following close behind them both.

"I will give you the first few moves since I'm nice," Seth said with a confident smile on his face. Dwalin snorted lightly at the arrogance, but he pulled out a sword from his inventory and instantly pointed it directly at Seth without hesitation.

Instantly, a lightning beam shot towards Seth with incredible speed, transforming mid-flight into a massive dragon made entirely of crackling energy. The dragon paused just before Seth's face, unable to reach Seth no matter how much it pushed forward.

Dwalin's eyebrow raised in surprise as he looked at this sight, clearly not expecting his attack to be stopped so easily. But his pupils glowed lightly with power, allowing him to see how space itself was dividing and splitting in front of Seth, pretty much bringing the concept of infinity into reality and creating an impossible distance.

"Not bad, my turn," Seth said calmly, reaching out and touching the lightning dragon with his hand. Instantly, the dragon turned around and shot back towards Dwalin at far greater speed than it had been launched, only to be nullified completely as Dwalin stood there completely immune to his own lightning.

"Nice armor, I'm guessing you're able to craft any type of armor and give them any type of abilities?" Seth asked with a smile, impressed by the defense.

"Damn right," Dwalin said with pride, launching another lightning dragon at Seth with a swing of his blade. Seth's eyebrow raised in surprise as this new lightning dragon had somehow adapted to Unreachable and even Unstoppable, learning from the previous attempt.

But despite the adaptation, the lightning Dragon still couldn't reach Seth, shocking Dwalin deeply. After all, Seth's abilities could also adapt to match any attack. So the lightning dragon was launched back towards Dwalin once more, and to Dwalin's growing shock, his immunity was bypassed completely by the adapted attack… although his natural defenses of someone so powerful, such as himself, allowed him to ignore the lightning sword's damage anyway.

"Not bad," Dwalin said, putting the sword away with a thoughtful expression, realizing that his lightning sword could never bypass Seth's defenses no matter how many times he tried. So, he pulled out another sword from his collection, one whose color was hard for Seth to see clearly, even with his enhanced vision.

"What sword is that?" Seth asked in genuine interest, curious about the strange weapon.

"This is Space Eater, it's a prototype. But pretty much, picture this sword as a weapon with Ur ter talent." He said with a proud smile, stunning Seth at that revelation. But it made sense when he thought about it, as a Ur tier blacksmith, creating weapons with Ur tier weapons seemed about right and within his capabilities. So, Seth removed his blindfold to get a good look at the sword with his full power.

"Such beautiful eyes." He said with amazement at the eye color he saw revealed. Seth just shrugged casually while throwing a look towards his own stats to see what he was dealing with.

Equipped Gear: [Dark Lightning Gear Set], [Nexus Gear Set]

Mount/Pet: [None]

Even now, he had not equipped the Nexus Gear set that the system had given him as a reward. Why hadn't he equipped such powerful gear? Simply because the last thing he wanted was to become more human than he already was. Yeah, he didn't want to be a human, so he didn't care if it meant he was limiting his own capability and holding himself back from reaching greater power that was available to him.

Seth looked up, his eyes focusing on the sword which tried to cut through space itself to reach him, slicing through the fabric of dimensions in a desperate attempt to bypass his defense and land a hit, only to find that it couldn't bypass Unreachable no matter how much power was put behind it or how hard it tried to break through.

'This ability of his to control space isn't a normal space-controlling ability like the others I've seen. There are degrees to space and levels of mastery, so in a battle of space abilities against another space user, he might be only rivaled by those Ur tier abilities that focus specifically on pushing Space control to its absolute limit and nothing else.' Dwalin thought to himself, genuinely shocked that his sword couldn't cut through to reach Seth despite its power. After all, his sword could cut through space itself with ease, normally, slicing through dimensions like they were paper.

But again, there were levels to space that most people didn't understand or even know existed. Just because you can control space to a high level in one dimension, doesn't mean you can control space to a similar level in higher dimensions, where the fundamental ruleshave changed completely.

So, Dwalin stepped forward with renewed determination burning in his eyes, pushed his sword to its absolute limit and beyond, and cut through the Infinity barrier that Seth had created between them as a defense, only for the Vector behind the attack to reverse direction immediately and shoot back at him with equal force and power, shattering the sword into countless pieces that scattered through space.

"Let's put an end to this before anyone gets hurt," Seth said with a light smile on his face, his tone casual and relaxed. Dwalin looked down at his shattered sword in his hand for some time, processing what had just happened to his carefully crafted weapon. He looked up at Seth for a long moment in silence, his expression unreadable, before he suddenly burst into loud laughter that echoed through the emptiness of space around them, showing genuine amusement and respect.

"You're more than worthy of being an ally, to think your defensive ability can be so powerful at attack as well. Let's form an alliance. I have a wonderful daughter," He said with a wide grin spreading across his face while holding out his hand for a handshake to seal the deal.

"I would have to reject the marriage, I already have a wife," Seth said, reaching out and taking the Emperor's hand in agreement for the alliance portion, all while the emperor's expression shifted and he frowned deeply at his words.

"What's the problem? You can make a harem, are you saying my daughter isn't good for you?" He said coldly, his tone shifting immediately from friendly to hostile. Seth looked towards Chu Yin for support or guidance on how to handle this situation.

"I mean you no disrespect. I plan to have only one wife." Seth said awkwardly, trying to explain his position and personal beliefs. This caused the Emperor to let go of his hand immediately and pull back, and at the same time, his aura shifted to something more hostile and dangerous that filled the space around them.

"One wife? I will give you a warning: You're new to this, so I will not blame you for your disrespect." Dwalin said coldly, his voice carrying a sharp edge of anger beneath the surface.

"Arranged marriages are more than simply building an alliance; they are a way for two forces to show that they mean no harm. I was willing to give you my most beloved daughter as a sign of trust and respect. I was willing to give your land My race Ur tier talent… so tell me, how should I trust you?" He asked, his words heavy with meaning and weight. This left Seth quiet for some time, realizing just how troublesome this matter was.

[A/N: Yeah, No Harem. I hope you guys are happy!]
