It was the sea area where the passenger ship had previously encountered a shipwreck.
Alger, the part-time pirate, was leading his subordinates in a search of this area, primarily to investigate for any abnormal Beyonder traces and to search for shipwreck survivors.
Of course, on the surface, they were pirates who had come to take advantage of the chaos.
"Boss, we haven't found anything except wreckage, not even many bodies..." A Sailor reported dejectedly, "There's simply nothing of value."
Listening to his subordinate Sailor's report, Alger didn't show much emotion, merely waving his hand to indicate he understood.
"Seriously, coming here is just a waste of time..." The Sailor complained before leaving.
Alger just shook his head after hearing that... Anyway, he was just here to investigate the situation, and since there was nothing, he might as well just wander around the vicinity, which would count as earning the Church's pay.
Not long after, there was another knock on the door.
Alger composed his expression and said sternly, "What is it now?"
"Boss, we fished out a leather case."
"A leather case?"
"Yes, it's the only intact thing we've found today."
With that, the Sailor eagerly brought up a leather suitcase.
"It's probably luggage from the passenger ship." Alger stood up and briefly examined the leather case.
He found it to be square and quite well-made. There were no signs of damage even after being soaked in seawater for so long.
"It's probably someone wealthy's..." he analyzed.
He then opened the box in front of his subordinates. To his surprise, the box had some waterproofing, and its interior was not very damp.
The contents of the box were ordinary: a few items of clothing and trousers. Beneath the clothes, there was a small silver knife, a gold-inlaid pocket watch, and a strangely patterned gold coin.
These few items looked like small antiques from some years ago.
"It should be worth a few dozen pounds..." To be honest, Alger was a bit disappointed, as he hadn't found anything of great value, but considering it was a free gain, he couldn't really complain.
Just as he thought it was merely a simple suitcase, he suddenly felt a peculiar bulge inside the box. He reached his hand in and discovered there seemed to be a hidden compartment.
Glancing at the subordinate standing directly in front of him, he subtly withdrew his hand and said casually, "Nothing of much value."
"Oh, I see..." The Sailor also looked a bit disappointed.
Alger took out the silver knife and handed it to the Sailor: "This little trinket is quite exquisite, it's yours."
"Thank you, Boss." The Sailor excitedly took the knife.
After sending his subordinate away, Alger locked the door of the captain's cabin. His intuition told him there should be something more valuable in that box.
He went to the leather case, opened it completely, and gently pulled open the hidden compartment. He found a stack of documents hidden inside.
"This is... cash?" Alger's eyes lit up; on top was a stack of gold pound banknotes.
"About five hundred pounds." He roughly counted them, then subtly slipped them into his pocket.
This money wasn't a lot but also not a little... It was just enough to make up for some of the savings he had spent on Beyonder materials.
"This is..." While examining the documents, Alger noticed a familiar script—Rosell's script.
He decisively took out those few pages and examined them carefully...
"This is year, month, day..."
"No mistake, this is rosell's diary!" Alger was both surprised and delighted. He had originally planned to find a way to acquire some rosell's diary after returning to shore, but he unexpectedly obtained it here.
However, before he could even be happy, he found a familiar word on one of the pages.
"Antigonus..."
Alger recalled that Mr. Fool had mentioned this name at the Tarot Club, and had also mentioned a notebook called Antigonus's Notebook.
"Could it be... this is Mr. Fool's will?"

On Luo En's side, after some effort, he finally managed to get the pirate ship moving, though it was more like being pushed by the waves than actually sailing.
One of the ship's masts was broken, which resulted in the ship having little power. The only fortunate thing was that the ship's steering function had no problems and could barely still be controlled with the rudder.
As he was unfamiliar with this sea area, Luo En didn't know where to sail. He could only roughly determine a direction through divination and stumbled his way towards the distance.
...
Sequence 0: Tyrant
Three Thunder God characteristics plus the Tyrant Uniqueness.
Ritual: Requires hundreds of thousands of followers who obey and believe out of fear. Secondly, individually challenge a True God, meaning another Sequence 0, and survive. Finally, in that atmosphere of fear and obedience, consume the potion and complete the advancement.
In the cockpit, Luo En was contemplating the information he had obtained from the Blasphemy Slate. To be fair, prying into the secrets of a God had a unique thrill.
When he saw the Tyrant's God-ascension ritual, his first thought was—useless.
This ritual was too useless. To challenge a True God and survive, this meant a cross-level challenge. And setting that aside, since it said to challenge a God, didn't that mean that without other Gods present, he couldn't become a God...?
Cross-level challenge, and unable to take the first position...
"There should be a way to substitute it..."
Luo En thought jokingly, "Is there a more relaxed way... one where I can just lie down and become a God...?"
Besides the formula, the most important thing about this Blasphemy Slate was that it confirmed one of Luo En's conjectures: there is only one God for each Pathway, as the formula explicitly stated a material called Uniqueness.
"God..." Luo En looked at the distant sea horizon, half-seriously and half-jokingly thinking, "Maybe one day I can become a God too?"
Putting aside his teasing of the Gods, he began to think about another matter.
This personal experience had already proven that the eighth rule of the Transmigration Guide was useful. So, was the seventh rule, which stated that merely chanting someone's honorific name could guarantee an Angel, also true?
After all, if a single incantation could summon that world-destroying power, then ascending to the heavens in one step by chanting an honorific name didn't seem impossible either.
Just as Luo En was contemplating with his chin resting, his spirituality suddenly stirred.
"Uh... where is this?" A weak voice came from behind him.
Luo En turned around and saw Tracy slowly open her eyes. The girl's pale face was filled with disbelief: "I... I'm actually still alive?"
"Of course you're still alive. Didn't I say you're not allowed to die before you pay back the two lives you owe me?"
Hearing the girl's murmur, Luo En chuckled and teased her.
Tracy stared at him blankly, complex emotions in her azure eyes: "You... too..."
"I'm fine too."
Luo En came before the girl, examining her slightly flushed face, and said,
"Now you owe me three lives~"
