Chapter 32 - Chapter 32: You’re Twisted to a Suspiciously Extreme Degree

"How do we find the Wildfire leader, then? Or someone who can talk?"

Leon followed up casually.

"Hold on."

Natasha walked to a nearby writing desk, picked up a pen, and wrote something.

Moments later, she slipped the paper into an envelope and handed it to Leon.

"Take this letter of introduction and have Sampo take you to Oleg.

Also, someone who can talk is Seele—she's easy to spot, with long purple-black hair and a giant scythe she rarely puts down."

"Got it. Thanks for the introduction, Ms. Natasha."

Leon took the letter.

"No need for formalities. If there's nothing else, I'll tend to my patients."

"Please take these medicines."

Leon waved his hand, producing some medical supplies.

"I don't like owing favors. Consider this payment for the letter of introduction—or—

you could see it as a Nameless doctor fulfilling a small duty."

Natasha's gaze lingered on the medical supplies, unable to look away for a long while.

"I can't thank you enough. On behalf of the suffering patients in the lower district, I thank you for your selfless gift."

"Come on, I can't handle the 'selfless' label."

Leon waved it off with a carefree gesture, opened the door, and left the clinic.

Watching his figure disappear, Natasha finally looked away, a faint smile on her lips.

Just a simple letter of introduction…

This outsider gentleman was quite genuine.

Regardless of his initial motives for giving medical supplies, his actions were a boon to the lower district's patients.

Player perspective.

Ah Xian arrived in the lower district, triggering a cutscene.

The group, panting from their sprint, stopped and looked back.

A whooshing sound approached, revealing the figure causing the commotion.

Leon, in an eerily graceful move, took a few steps in midair, did two flips, and landed in front of the group.

Turning around, he wore a faint smile.

"Good brother, you're incredible—defying gravity to walk on air, terrifyingly awesome!"

Sampo exclaimed, laying on the flattery.

March 7th, used to Leon's skills, glanced behind him and pressed:

"Hey, Sampo, you sure no one's chasing us down here?"

"Relax. Even at the underground's messiest times, the upper district never sent anyone here."

Sampo replied nonchalantly.

"Where to now?" Stelle asked, still carrying Bronya on her back.

Sampo's eyes darted, and he grinned.

"First, let's head to Natasha's clinic to catch our breath and rest a bit."

Ah Xian was surprised to find the game still using Leon's first-person perspective.

But through him, she couldn't see the other companions.

She couldn't help but gripe.

"miHoYo's being lazy again. Couldn't they at least model Stelle carrying Bronya?

Best case, we'd meet Seele at Natasha's clinic and dive right into some face-to-face NTR literature!"

[You're twisted to a suspiciously extreme degree.]

[I'm into it.]

[As a pure-love warrior, I'll slaughter all NTR scum!]

[Twisted? Paradigm sniffed it out and came running.]

[You know, Paradigm's actually playing. If miHoYo made that scene Ah Xian described, he'd be over the moon.]

[miHoYo's committing crimes! Bronya's soft body against your back—how amazing would that feel?]

[And feeling Bronya's black stockings, the stunning elasticity of her legs.]

[Bronya's the Guard commander—black stockings plus sweat-proof long boots? That scent's gotta be divine!]

[Eat it up!]

[???]

[Genshin bros crossing over?]

[You lot, stop escalating the power surge!]

That said, Ah Xian's point resonated with players.

During exploration missions, you often couldn't see your companions.

Sometimes, you'd hear their voices, but turning the camera showed nothing, which was frustrating.

"Why are we still in Leon's first-person perspective…?"

Ah Xian pondered, pressing F to enter Natasha's clinic.

Sampo: "Big sis, I'm here!"

Natasha turned, her surprised gaze landing on the Express crew.

"Who are these people?"

"Hi, I'm March 7th."

Now out of danger, March 7th reverted to her lively self, introducing herself and her companions.

But when she mentioned Bronya was a Silvermane Guard, Natasha's brow furrowed unconsciously.

"Let's get her settled first."

Natasha held off on saying more for now.

[You place Bronya on a hospital bed.]

After confirming Bronya was fine, Natasha shot Sampo a look.

Sampo got the hint, but before he could speak, Leon cut in.

"March, you and Stelle go with Sampo to get familiar with the area."

"Huh, you're not coming?" March 7th asked, puzzled.

"Bronya hasn't woken up yet. Someone needs to stay with her. We're not doctors, so don't mess around—go handle the important stuff."

Stelle grabbed March 7th's wrist and dragged her out without further ado.

"Sampo, time to fulfill your guide duties."

"You got it, lady hero—follow me!"

Sampo was all enthusiasm.

Natasha's knife-sharp questioning stare had been on him for ages—he couldn't wait to bolt.

No doubt she'd grill him if he stayed.

Leon choosing to stay? What a brother!

"Stelle's pretty good at reading the room, huh."

Ah Xian grinned, quite pleased with the plot's setup.

That subtle observation, with all its little expressions, was spot-on.

After the three left, the next plot segment was a dialogue between Leon and Natasha.

Through their conversation, players got a preliminary understanding of the lower district's situation.

Life was that tough, huh.

No wonder Bronya was in danger here.

From the lower district's perspective, they'd love nothing more than to skin the upper district's officials.

Caught off guard by the sudden lockdown, they had no clue why it happened.

Despite their resentment, they toiled day and night mining geomarrow to send to the upper district.

Their labor earned them meager supplies, barely enough to survive.

Medical resources, critical for emergencies, were especially vital.

When Leon later handed over a table full of medicines, countless players praised his actions.

"Rather than saying Leon's fulfilling a doctor's duty, it's more like he's showing pity for the lower district from a Nameless perspective."

Ah Xian opened Leon's character story.

"At the end of the day, he might've once protected a world himself.

His actions align with the Nameless creed—maybe even an older creed.

On the surface, he says he doesn't like owing favors, but really, he just wants Natasha to think it's a fair trade.

The Nameless leave only footprints, not names.

And that might be the path he once walked…"

"Don't think I'm just guessing. Why else are Leon's background stories two, three, and four still locked?

Not only in-game but even the wiki doesn't have them."
