Carlos's POV
"Welcome to your new home, Miss Ian," I said coldly. "You will be here for the rest of your life."
I watched as Amara's eyes darted around frantically. I could see her taking in the cramped cabin that contained only a narrow bed and a corner fireplace.
I observed the brutal cold starting to attack her body once more. She clearly had no idea of her current location, but this certainly wasn't suitable for a woman dressed in barely anything.
I sneered watching Amara's terrified state. Witnessing her misery had become my personal satisfaction.
Rage consumed me knowing Amara had tormented Grace mercilessly for years, so this served as my payback for daring to harm my woman.
"You're currently on a remote island. This location remains inaccessible year-round except during summer months. No vessel can approach this place since the waters freeze completely, and aircraft have nowhere to land," I explained.
