Keifer's POV
We were in the restaurant. When Jay went out to pick up a call from Aries. It has been a while she hasn't come inside.
I went out to check but she was not there. Panic rushed all over me. I immediately called Aries. And he told me that he was on call with Jay when suddenly the call cut down. He was rushing to the restaurant.
I waited for him. He came after 10 minutes. I told all of the section e to do something.
My phone suddenly rang. It was an unknown number. I picked it up.
"Hiiiii!! Your sweetheart is with us. Wanna talk to her." I immediately understood it was no other man but Clyde's assistant.
"Fuck you. You want us right? Leave them now. And don't even think about touching my girl!! Wait for me there." I siad to them.
" Broo... Chill. We want you and your whole gang. If you win just get your girls and then leave." He said on the call. I cut the call got in my car and told everyone to follow me. I know exactly where they are.
We arrived there. I even called Aries to call Percy.
I went there and punched them one by one. I ran towards the door. Ci, Calix and Edrix came with me.
My monster dad appeared from behind while I was hugging Jay. He beated me and I felt lik that old little Keifer who had no choice but just be beaten up. I was so weak infront of him.
Jay got up snatched the gun from Dylan and pointed the gun at MONSTER. Who the fuck taught her to use a gun?
She saw blood. She was terrified and hit the Monster. Everybody screamed at her to stop but she didn't listen. I couldn't speak up.
Clyde held her from her hairs and pulled her to ground. He came towards me and pointed the gun at me. I couldn't move. Jay came running towards him and stood infront him. She was SHOT!!
SHIT!!! JAYYYYY!!!!!!! NO NO NO I CAN'T LOSE HER. I WON'T LIVE WITHOUT HER. I FINALLY STOOD UP AND SHOUTED AT YURI.
"YURI CALL THE AMBULANCE!!" he obeyed and called.
The ambulance was here. She was shot in her stomach. Blood all over her uniform. I forgot the pain and piched her up in my hands. I rushed towards the ambulance.
" JAY- JAY PLEASE OPEN YOUR EYES. PLEASE!!" She was unconscious now.
Tears welded up in my eyes.
We reached to the hospital. She undergoing in a surgery. I was angry at myself. It is all of my fault. It is because of me.BECAUSE OF ME!!
I cried more harder. Aries came towards me. I thought he would scold me like he should and always do. But instead he pulled me into a hug. I crued even more.
"I am sorry Aries. It is all my fault. I couldn't keep you promise. Jay got shot because of me. I am sorry. Sorry." I said while crying
He hugged me even tighter.
"No no it's not your fault. She will be fine. Doctors said we are just in time. Iy not your fault don't cry. I will be by your side. ALWAYS." Aries said to me.
I remembered the time when we used to play together and I fell once. Yuri and Percy laughed at me but I couldn't bear the pain and cried. But only Aries took me to his home and bandaged me.
I stopped crying. Angelo arrived in a rush. Tears welding up in his eyes. I thought he would kill me but he supported me.
"Hey hey it's okay. Where is Jay?" He asked full of concern.
"She-e" I couldn't talk. I was crying. God please make her fight from the bullet. Even though I am an atheist. But for Jay I will pray to every god or every saints.
"She is in the emergency room. Surgery." Aries answeres for me.
We waited. Me, Angelo and Freya were art the hospital to stay. All of the others went to their houses.
Angeli was talking to someone on phone. Freya approached me.
"Hey. It's okay Jay will be fine. She is strong she will surely survive." She said with a calm but concerned voice.
"Why are you here?" I asked. I couldn't understand why she was staying. Jay and Freya are not even that good with each other.
"I-i was going to thank Jay today. For meddling. I also liked Edrix. But I didn't know how to approach him. Because he is in Section E. But Jay was the one who meddled and helped. I thought of thanking Jay and even wanted to ask her to hangout with me on a weekend so we could spend some time together and be good friends. I was even talking to Edrix on chat when somebody broke into my house and kidnapped me." She explained while crying.
I think that "the mean girl FREYA" is trying to bring back "the good FREYA". It's nice. If Jay and Freya will be friends, it will be good for Jay because they both won't pick up fights.
"Uh. Thanks for the concern. But you can go home. I will call you right away when she wakes up." I told her but she refused and insisted on staying.
Doctor came out after a while.
"Mr. Watson, she is safe now. We have removed the bullet. You brought her here on time or else she could die. The nurse in the room. Two persons can see her but be careful." Doctor said to me.
Angelo was not here right now so me and Freya got into the room.
Freya went there and sath on the chair beside her and cried.
"I am sorry Jay I am sorry. You were so nice to me but I still picked up fights with you. It's my fault." Freya said while sobbing.
She went to the bathroom leaving the two of us in the room.
" Jay, please wake up. I hope you wake up soon. Please Jay. Please." I said while pleading.
Angelo arrived in the room.
" Keifer. Will you do a favor for me?" He asked.
"What is it?" I asked
"Take care of Jay. I have to go. Something came up. If she wakes up call me right away." He said while going.
"Okay." Wow. Angelo has really changed his behaviour towards me.
But it doesn't matter to me because even if he hadn't told me I would still take care of her.
I thought of texting to Yuri.
To Rooster 🐔: Hey. You fine now? Can you come to the hospital?
From Rooster 🐔: Yeah. I am fine now. Coming...on the way.
Yuri arrived after a while. He came into the room.
"Hey, You look..... Horrible. You haven't slept? It's morning already. 4:26 a.m." yuri said while entering and seeing my horrrible appearance. I wouldn't deny I really didn't want to sleep unless someone can come and see Jay.
" I have told you to come here so that I can sleep." I said clearly annoyed by him.
" Awww!! It's okay my baby. I will take care of your baby." He said to me while laughing.
" Oh by the way before you sleep...." Yuri said but I cut him off.
" LATER. LET ME SLEEP!". I said to him in the most horrible way.
I slept and woke up by the voices of two persons talking and laughing like annoying birds. I managed to open my eyes. I saw Aries and Yuri talking while laughing and suddenly Percy also entered the room. I sat on the sofa. My neck is hurting from laying down on the sofa. I need my BEDDD!!!!
" Oh look he is awake." Percy said.
" Do you want water?" Aries asked while Yuri just throwed a bottle of water at me.
" Is this really a way to treat a person who just woke up." I said.
" Well. Many years ago I asked you for the chocolate and you gave it to me by hitting in my left eye. So yeah, that was just my revenge." Yuri said while Aries and Percy laughed.
" What Bullshit! You still remember that. It was years ago." I said.
" Well. My eye still hurts sometimes." Yuri said.
" Want me to fix your eye?" I asked him.
" Oh how will you do it?" Yuri asked.
" By taking your eye out. Then you won't have the eye and you won't get hurt." I said.
" Ooohhhhhh Keifer that was a really good point." Percy said.
" Want me to take out your eyes too?" I asked.
" First of all, it's beautiful eyes and second, NOO!!!" Percy said.
I just shook my head while Aries laughed.
" What time is it?" I asked.
"Oh it is 7:45 a.m." Aries told me.
"WTH!!! are guys doing this morning." 8 asked.
"Shut up. We here to visit Jay. Kuya said me to." Aries told to me.
"Oh well your 'kuya' said me to take care of her." I said
"Really!! Has boss accepted our #Jayfer?" Percy asked.
"Ofcourse he has to." Yuri said.
I went to the bathroom to freshen up. I came out of the bathroom after 10 minutes.
"Woww!!! Our Mr. Handsome Watson is back. But not more than me." Guess who it was Percy.
Are they here to visit Jay or just to tease me? But honestly I like when we 4 are together. It is like we are friends again. Which I want.
" Oh Keifer I had to ask you something before you slept. Can I know?" Yuri asked breaking the silence.
" Yeah sure but in the cafeteria. I am hungry. You and Percy stay here I am going with Yuri." I said while pointing at Aries and Percy.
We went to the cafeteria. I ordered coffee. Yuri ordered Juice. Seriously juice?
" So. When I came in the morning I saw Freya here in the room. But when I entered she left. She was on the other sofa. Hey you listening?" Yuri said while snapping at me.
" Yes what what. Yes, she was here for Jay." I said
" Why? Jayand Freya aren't on good terms.
"I know. I asked her yesterday she said that she wanted to thank Jay you know about what and she wanted to hangout with Jay to know what she likes so that she could gift her something good on her birthday and also to get along with her." I explained.
"Ohh....you are still sleepy." Yuri said while laughing.
"Yeah. I am going to sleep again while you guys are here. That sofa broke my neck. Oh but where is Freya now? I asked
"When I came in the morning she saw me and left. She said me to tell you but you just slept and ignored me." Yuri told.
We went back to the room after drinking our coffee and 'juice'. I layed diwn beside Jay. There was enough space for two people. I wrapped her in my arms and slept.
" Hey. Kuya said you to take care of her not to sleep with her infront of her older brother." Aries said annoyed.
" Shut up. Let me sleep." I said.
I woke up at 10 a.m. I know I am late but it doesn't matter I was up whole night. There were Section E and Mica, Freya and Rakki. All of them were in the same room. Ughhh!!!! Why do I have to face this. The nurse opened the door and looked a bit startled.
" Only two people are allowed. What are you all doing here?" The nurse asked. Everyone was embarrassed and left the room.
Only me and Aries were in the room.
" Who is the patient?" The nurse asked.
Confused because we both were lying in the same bed.
I got up and pointed at Jay. That nurse gave me a bad look adjusted her IV drip and left. Aries laughed after the nurse left.
" I am going outside Ella is here. Take care of her." Aries said and left.
I rolled off my eyes at the name he said. I don't know what I even liked in her? Jay is so much more beautiful and perfect in every way than that girl. Ughh! I am disgusted only by her name.
