The hall was eerily silent as Luigi sat across Winnie McCarthy Dame, and Senior McCarthy, June's parents.
Winnie let out a soft chuckle before asking. "Mr. Oren, you must be joking, right?"
"I am very serious, Mrs. Dame. June doesn't know I am here, but I can no longer pretend to not see her suffering because she misses her family, but don't know how to face them. I don't want to see my woman suffering silently."
Mr. McCarthy Senior revealed a faint smile. It was good to know that his daughter had gotten a man who truly cared about her. Enough to look for her family.
"Didn't she tell you the circumstances under which she left this house?" Winnie scoffed sarcastically.
"She did. But the reason doesn't matter anymore, since a lot of time have passed. I'm here to let you know that she has never forgotten about her family, and she misses all of you. You have no idea how happy she was, when her brother and sister came to the US." Luigi elaborated.
