Hi alvin, hey bro" Tonya and as she took a seat beside steve in the cafeteria. "Hold up a sec, you two are siblings?," Alvin asked with a confused look. "But Steve is an elf and you're a human"
"Twins actually. My mom is an e" Steve said munching down his food. "Hey guys" Rita greeted her friends as she sat down beside alvin. [Oh, oh, once miles see rita sitting next to you. He's not gonna like it]
"Alvin, i always wanted to ask you a question since the day you saved us from blazer and the others crazy ki blockers" tonya said playing with her spoon.
"Go on." Alvin said nodding his head. "Okay, there are actually two. The first one is how do you know we were in trouble?" Tonya asked sitting up straight.
"I just about to leave work when i saw you guys being abducted by the most notorious criminal in Petunia." Alvin said.
"I thought you were a dueler?. The dueling stadium is not near the place where blazer took us, i watched your fight with the gladiator" steve asked looking up from his food.
"I was a dueler before, my mom was paralyzed. So i had to quit my job and work in my mom's work place ." Alvin explained with a sad face.
"Is she alright now?" Rita asked turing to alvin. "She's fine thanks to your mom." Alvin replied. Rita just scoffed and looked away. "Okay, the other questions is that are you joining the tournament or what?" Tonya asked happily.
"Yeah, i'm 60% sure, i'm going to win." Alvin said. "How are you so sure?, this academy is full of strong people." Rita said flirting with alvin.

"And one of them is miles" tonya said happily. "I just need to train and meditate, then i will be ready for the tournament." Alvin pointed out reasonably.
"Tonya, we have to get to healing class," rita said."Maybe i'll see you during class, bye then."
"Sure, see you later." He said. "See you later, alvin. Bye steve" tonya said walking away.

"The grand affinity tournament isn't just some kind of football tournament or any other tournament you played back in petunia," Master Oliver the fire affinity teacher said.
"It is a tournament that great warriors had come across, for example, Jack Tucker, the man who established the ARF. It is also a tournament that only the great can win, get to your stance."
Everyone scattered around the wide field, "Strech your hands everyone, to receive your ID numbers needed to start this training course."
It was hard for alvin to believe that a card with their picture, name, number appeared on everyone's palm. "How is this possible?" Alvin asked himself.
"It's the power of vanadium. " Steve said teasingly. "Time to start training," Master Oliver called out to the students. "I present to you the fire affinity training course".
"Wow, this training course is really, really, futuristic." A student said. "All you have to do is to avoid the obstacles, burn those dumb dummies and capture the flag," Master Oliver said.
"Just an easy game, one more thing, don't hold on to everything you see and let the training begin."
