My world shatters at his words. 
"You can see me?” He asks next, a voice calmer and yet deeper than Mariana Trench. It whispers all around me, murmuring against my skin as if trying to awaken something sleeping. 
“Yes, why shouldn't I be able to?” I question, slightly confused. A crease descends on my forehead. 
"No one else can," he answers with a wounded smile that wrecks my heart. 

Synopsis:

Returning to my room I am still thinking about the night's strange events.

I take off my uniform and am about to put on my nightshirt when I hear a small knock on the door. It has to be Jamina, only she comes to my room at night. 


Irrespective of how many times I tell her, she can enter without knocking, she always does. 


Only wearing my sweats, I move along and open the door. To my surprise, I find an apologetic-looking Mintaka and an extremely furious Amaia standing there. 


Her pupils dilate seeing me, and her fluffed cheeks, which already appear like soft cotton balls, tint the brightest pink when her gaze unapologetically moves from my face to my torso and stays there. 


She is ogling…her mouth slowly opens but no sound comes out. Her heartbeat becomes agitated.
