Speaking to Jamina has left me drained. Why would the Moon goddess throw me between two people who have been together their whole lives?
The Twins have their Moonball practice and Rigel is gone for the night, hunting. He needed fresh blood and he refused to drink from me.
"Amaia, there is something I want to discuss with you," Kacir slowly says.
I haven't told him what had happened between Alnilam, Jamina, and me. There is no need to burden him with all of my messes.
"Of course!" I smile at him, clutching the pillow to my chest.
He sheepishly smiles at me, rubbing the back of his head.
"Rahria wants me to shift in the room with her…"
Kacir will never bring this up if his heart is not into it. Both of them have gotten very close as they should. The mate bond is finally weaving its magic.
"Go, be with her. You don't need my permission. Twins already occupy this room more than you now," I let out a small laugh and his smile widens.
