Seraphina's eyes expressed understanding as she saw the determination in Vahn's gaze. But there was a faint worry in her heart.
She wanted to say something, to warn him more, but she knew he had already made up his mind.
"I don't think I can stop you now?" she murmured more to herself than to him.
Vahn let out a faint smile and said,
"I'll be fine, Seraphina. Besides, I can't ignore the attraction I feel to that place. The Tower of Primordials is the pace where I need to go."
Seraphina let out a faint sigh. Her eyes searched his face as if trying to read the depths of his decision.
But he found no hesitation, no fear.
Finally, she reached into a drawer beside her and took out a jade slip. It was emerald green in color that glowed faintly in the soft light of the cave.
"This is for your journey, Vahn." she handed the strnage object to him with grace.
Vahn took the slip with some confusion. It felt slightly cold and smooth on his fingers.
